But... it would be dubbed in French, right? They do that with all films. I'd love to see the look on some hardcore American Star Wars fans that paid good money to fly to France to see it 2 days early just to realise once the film starts that it's all in French lol.

Aziz is literally the worst fucking comic working today. His jokes are office cubicle level. I had the misfortune of having to see him headline Oddball this year and left after about 5 minutes. He's not funny

Thankfully the landscape is changing? Cosby Show, The Jeffersons, 227, A Different World, Fresh Prince, In Living Colour, Family Matters, etc, etc, etc. There have been lots of shows with "people of colour" for decades


Anyway, won't bugger this thread up any more. I couldn't give a shit what colour the characters are as long as they're good actors

Aziz's standups have been huge. He's got Netflix show coming out. He is very much a hot comic. "turning the stereotype dial up to 11"? I don't think many of us think of Indian guys as metrosexual, hipster entrepreneurs. Also, he's from fucking South Carolina so him being an Indian guy who lives in Indiana is no stretch. I live in Indiana and I know more Indian people than Mexican people but I'm sure that's an affluence thing.

I've always thought the prequels were amazing, but that just gets pejorative remarks around these parts. I find it interesting that people can't just let someone be happy. They have to try to convince you that your opinion is wrong, and that theirs is the correct one. Insecurity is a bitch.

I'm about as big a fan as anyone that I've met, and I would never say they are amazing. I just rewatched all of them in the last 2 weeks and at best, they are alright with really good moments in each of them. Not saying they are terrible, they just aren't amazing, not even in the same zip code as Empire.

And see, from my perspective, Empire is the least enjoyable. It gets the smallest amount of emotional reaction from me. I, III, VI create the most emotion. But I'm not going around bashing people for loving ESB the best. I love them all.

Before things become uncivil, I do have a question about the new trilogy. I-VI was called the Rise, Fall, and Redemption of Anakin Skywalker. Is there any chance these new movies continue some sort of narrative that will extend that? What could you possibly do after redemption?
