So instead of lens flare blocking out shots we can assume there will be some kind of pole covering the faces of characters in over half the scenes? We won't even see Han's face as he kills a trooper with an empty bag again.

You might be right. The leaked concept art from awhile ago has some robot character that hasnt been shown in anything. Could be Luke
