Ok finally saw this yesterday. Just wanted to get down quick thoughts then I'll read this thread.
Super Leia flying back and surviving bothered me.
Whole "rich people suck" sequence in the casino was cringe. That has to be a meme "Only way you can be this rich is X" substitute "arms dealer for the first order" with "hollywood movie producer/actor."
The "Women run things" and men just want to fight blindly was cringe.
Scared Jedi Texts are meaningless was cringe
The cute little owl bird things... I mean I'm ok with it. It's definitely better than Jar Jar, and I would say better than Ewoks too. Same for the random comic relief aliens on jedi island.
Hacker thing was dumb.
All that out of the way... .Poe, Rae (Ray?), Kylo and Finn were all good again. They are the new core and I still find them likable.

I also did Christmas Eve. most rows were full. this one row had only one guy sitting in the center. I sat next to him.
He cried at the Luke-Leia scene.

Rey improved slightly.

owl things fell into my margins of forgiveness, but what irks me is that media have been upplaying them hardcore, like at a conspiracy-theory invoking level..
crystal dogs should have been scrapped completely.
New Rule: No more bad CGI. If it looks bad, don't do it. Change the angle, take it out of focus; just don't use it.
Porgs were fine; dogs were not. green milk squatters were fine, Jabba from special edition is not.

Oh yeah crystal dogs... I was fine with them in principle because they were used for the plot. CGI was meh on them.
Speaking of CGI animals, that entire save the animals thing was super cringe too. The whole casino part should have been cut although I guess they couldn't because that's what they use for Finn/Rose/Phasma. It just flat sucked and seemed so out of place.
Goofball yet wise puppet yoda was also very good, forgot that. I didn't like how they handled the Jedi temple so much but I liked the failure lesson and admitting the Jedi fucked up a lot.

Not gonna nitpick, but I'm gonna nitpick...
Obi Wan did not go into hiding on Tattooine. He went there to watch over Luke, to protect him if need be, and to start teaching him when the time came. Once that time came, he did what he waited ~18 years in a shithole to do.
Yoda, I don't quite know the entire backstory to, but he witnessed the entire destruction of the Jedi at the hands of DV and realised he could not do anything alone, so he fled to Dagobah to live in the vicinity of the Dark Side cave, hoping it's power would mask his Light. Now, I don't remember if he was there waiting for Luke to come of age, or not, but it was obvious that he was not the "prophesied" one that would be able to bring balance back to the Force, therefore trying to fight alone would have been futile, while what he did: wait and train Luke, paid off.
This is just some joker's attempt to justify the idiots' in charge shitting all over the story the rest of us know and love.

With how much this series shit in everything Star Wars, the r2 and Leia video was about the only thing they did right. To bad the autistic direction/editing made them hustle the fuck on from that scene too fast for it to have any emotional impact for me personally. I just knew it probably should impact me like that.

Eh, I thought the movie was ok. Not great (thought TFA was better) but I still don't think it's near the prequels. I agree the Leia Poppins scene was pretty ridiculous (that would of been a hell of a way to die, Ren can't do it but she gets it anyway) but other than that I didn't mind the other stuff.

For all their flaws, at no point do the prequels actively insult your intelligence by expecting you to overlook giant plotholes, huge gaps in logic, and attacks on existing Star Wars lore. Though if you're a retard to begin with, I can understand how some of this might go unnoticed.

Those are just SOME of the better known ones. This movie is certainly flawed, but holy shit the prequels were so bad that it got a jew to give up a billion dollar franchise to avoid embarrassment.
