Lol, no. Why would I?

Well, for me, it’s because well thought-out and executed entertainment is very enjoyable. I love experiencing great stories, then talking about them with my family and friends. I’d also love to see Disney recover from the SJW free-fall it appears to be in the midst of, and The Mandalorian seems to indicate it may be on the path.

What's your position? Why don't you want to see good Star Wars off-cinema content?

The point is prime story trilogy should stand fully and completely on its own, supplemental TV, comics etc. Should only enhance it for those that seek it out... it should not FIX it, that's not their purpose or design.

his entire persona is based on things being bad. if things are good, he'd just... cease to be.

i know it sounds like i'm a hater, but i want Star Wars to be good, i enjoyed The Mandolorian, much more than i expected to. this horrible set of movies need to be derided as the shit that it clearly is. if we accept shit, then more shit is what we get.

What’s worse is by failing to capture new fans who are parents, while simultaneously alienating existing ones, they may have done irreparable damage to the brand among today’s children.

Kids not wanting Star Wars toys is the biggest clue to how well this IP will do in the future.

Why would kids want them? The parents that grew up with the good movies have seen them shit out 6 terrible additions that murdered their childhood. They protested by buying their kids anything else on the shelves. I am one of those parents and my four kids do not own a single star wars toy among them. My parents remember how much I loved them and always ask me if I want them to buy SW toys for my kids and I always tell them that to just get anything else.

Fuck George Lucas' prequels and double fuck Disney's trilogy that somehow replaced Jar Jar Binks as being the worse thing to ever have the Star Wars name attached to it.

well. i guess i am. why isn't she a force ghost, especially since she is confirmed to be one of the voices?

I mean she's still alive as of the destruction of the second Death Star, and now they've hinted that she's going to be alive at least a bit longer than that to search for Ezra with Sabine. Also the force ghost technique was incredibly rare and Yoda had to go on some crazy ass vision quest to be able to learn the technique, and he taught Obi-Wan. Anakin shouldn't even have been able to do it really, but he's force jesus so whatever. But Ahsoka, who was never even a knight let alone a master, definitely shouldn't be able to do it.

And Ford weighed in on the online debate over whether Han Solo returned as a Force ghost, since the character was not a Jedi or overly Force sensitive. Coming back as a Force ghost would have placed Han Solo in league with Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"A Force ghost? I don’t know what a Force ghost is," Ford said, before going into a whisper so as not to disturb rabid "Star Wars" fans.

"Don’t tell anyone. I’m not talking loud enough for your recorder. I have no (expletive) idea what a Force ghost is. And I don’t care!"
