The entire cast looks entirely too happy for missions that they are supposed to be walking into their own deaths. Think about how you'd be in a situation like that. Happy? Smiley? Jokey? How about none of the above. "Suicide" is in the name of the title for a reason. Or do you expect us to believe that people are cracking jokes like Deadpool before they commit suicide?

It just doesn't make sense. Not at all.
Not if it's premise is the same as The Dirty Dozen; the survivors were promised commuted sentences. Faced with the prospect of either going out in a blaze of glory doing what they are suited for with the (believed) possibility of walking away from it as ex-cons or rotting away the rest of their lives in confinement I can see how they would be a little chipper, especially if some of them are slightly deranged.

It's comic books, they can adjust race, gender and personality to suit the needs of story.
Funny, you don't see Marvel doing major adjustments to any of the main characters in their movies. I'm not talking about supporting characters that have five minutes' screen time, and even on those, they kept their personalities.

Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige Gives Advice for JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie | Collider

Steve: If you could give any advice to DC and their Justice League movie, what would you tell them?

Feige: It's what I say all the time and have said over the years, which is, have confidence in the characters, believe in the source material, don't be afraid to stay true to all of the elements of the characters no matter how seemingly silly or crazy they are.
This is also advice that Stan Lee gave to DC. The real problem is that DC doesn't have any faith in their characters, so they use marketing groups to establish what personalities might sell best. Trust your lore. This is why Marvel is now the number one selling franchise of all time. That's not just superhero movies, that is of all movies. DC should listen, but instead, they churn out $400 million flops with characters who've had their personalities deleted and engrafted back in, like Frankenstein's monster. Even the regular non comic book nerd moviegoers aren't buying it. Something just seems off.

I haven't seen BvS, so maybe that's what was being referred to above regarding Batman being a murderer.

I thought the Dark Knight was one of the best movies I've ever seen. Was DC not heavily involved in the making of that movie? Or is Batman in that movie a huge divergence from his comic source?

More like they need to get the tone right. Some characters are grimdark, some are smurfy, but please stop reversing their personalities!
More likely you're a trolling jackass. Ayers said in the link i provided that it is more action given the costs of the reshoot, not getting the tone more righter.

If you want to be self-righteous about it, email Kevin Feige or Stan Lee. These are not my statements.

I guess they are trolling also.

Okay we get it. Your Jimmies clearly are rustled. Am I more righter?

How dare anyone think this will be anything less than a Masterpiece. It has will smith (the living one) and its riding just behind the marvelous writing of the 97 people who penned Batman vs Superman vs Lex Joker

Smith as Deadshot is still annoying me but Killer Croc(Looks fantastic), El Diablo, and Leto have grown on me a ton. My Guess is Slipknot gets wacked by Flag early since he isnt in the trailer much. The Joker scenes seems like flashback and Enchantress ect is the main villain

How many people did Batman kill in Dark Knight? There's the accidental death of Harvey, when he tried to save Gordon's son. Batman refused to kill even Joker in that movie, even after he's been on a killing spree that included blowing up a hospital.

How many people did Batman kill in BvS? 30? 40? Batman killed people he didn't need to in BvS. Even in the one scene where there were six to eight people using machine gun turreted trucks. The bullets just bounced off the batplane. Yet Batman killed them anyway even though they weren't in his way.

So in Dark Knight, Batman goes out of his way to avoid killing people that deserve it, but in BvS, he kills almost every criminal in sight (and the ones he didn't kill were permanently maimed).

Like I said, I haven't seen that movie yet. Now the criticism makes sense. You may continue your discussion.

Batman killed the entire League of Shadows in Tibet. He also killed Liam Neeson by not saving him.

It annoys me that Will Smith as Deadshot because you know they will keep his mask off to show you it's Will Smith.

IIRC he wasn't actually trying to kill the League, the destruction of their fortress happened on accident during his fight with fake Ra's. I agree that the way he left Ducard to die was a pretty deliberate decision to kill considering how far out of his way he went to save Joker in the next movie.

It annoys me that Will Smith as Deadshot because you know they will keep his mask off to show you it's Will Smith.
What's this obsession with Deadshot staying masked? You see his face CONSTANTLY. JLA/U, Assault on Arkham, Smallville, Arrow, and that's just TV stuff, not comics.

He killed the League by accident, the building blew up. In BvS, Batman used guns, knives and grenades, as well as his hands topurposefullykill people.

I'm not sure what you are missing here. I rewatched the movie (through torrents), and yes, Batman used lethal force in almost every situation. And he branded criminals knowing it meant death in jail.

Deadshot being unmasked in every scene is annoying but his attachment on the wrong eye is much worse

Every trailer released has me more and more convinced that the soundtrack is to blame for making people far more optimistic about this film than they should be.

Yeah they're definitely selling it well from that angle. Are those songs going to be part of the actual soundtrack though or is it just music for the trailers?
