I was going from last season, but yeah. I liked the '08th MS team, but have a special place in my heart for Gundam Wing. That's the first series that I ever got to see. Have all of them on DVD from Suncoast Video. That shit was expensive too. Like $35 per disk, each with only 4 episodes. And they came out MONTHS apart from one another.

Looking for advice here ; it has been a while since I've followed what's happening in the anime world.
What would be the good stuff released in the last couple years (movies or series) ?
I mean the quality level of something like GITS/Akira.
More looking for sci-fi / adult oriented stuff, and by that I mean "serious" ; not hentai (I would have said seinen, but Samurai Champloo is somewhat considered shonen ?, yet to me it felt much more serious (and awesome) than stuff like One piece or Naruto)

3 of my all time favourites missing there !!

1 - Another (horror, absolutely fantastic)
2 - Mirai nikki (horror, psicological, survival? bit of fantasy too ... and there is yuno!)
3 - Deadman wonderland - pity they havent continued with the series, manga was indeed cool.

EDIT: wow gave a look at the next season line up and its going to be a bit sucky (for me at least). Now one decent new show (except one punch hopefullly), only semi happy bout antimagic academy (tai-madou gakuen) and seraph 2nd part. Lots of harem, school genre.. Ah well new gundam maybe wont suck either

I've mentioned it before but I liked Shiki for horror, there is just something satisfying about watching a village get picked off and turned into vamps 1 by 1.

And as others have mentioned, you can't miss the Attack on Titan series, pretty much undisputed as the best overall production in the last 5+ years.
