Wtf was with that challenge? Cierra basically just gave up her first time up with Kat, why did she even go up twice, Katie lost to her mother but at least she made an effort she should have went up twice. Colton's boytoy didn't go up because there's only 2 women on his tribe and 3 on the other (well 4 they had to sit one) so one girl had to go twice. Colton's is still a piece of shit who's probably on his period 24/7, I hope they stop bringing back these crappy people, I know it's for "ratings" but Colton and lil hantz meltdowns just really screw the mentally stable people on their tribes.
maybe it's the other way around... maybe the boyfriend hired colton as a way to get into survivor. can we get someone with gay-dar and see if the boyfriend is really gay? i mean why can't that be a possibility, we're all thinking how can colton have someone want to marry him? and maybe it's just a story so the other dude can get on survivor.

Why? cuz now they have no use for jon, and if candice kept on winning jon would get all the clues, so now they'd stop that at least.
i watched all of candices' seasons, she is mega boring, but she's strong, i'd say she's the strongest female there, even tho all those females are either old moms, old moms with implants or weakass girls, hell the second strongest female is probably rupert's wife and she's a noob.

Can't stand redemption island format, it's so anti climatic, having someone finally kicked at the middle of the episode is ridiculous, they should have at least tried to change the format and have the duels at the end of the episode.
I was too busy to watch last week so I just watched the last two episodes.
The loved ones tribe sucks pretty hard. They are playing scared and voting out their strong players which means that they are going to go into the merge way down on numbers. On the other hand, they are probably not going to get Pagonged because the loved one aspect is going to throw everyone into chaos at the merge.
I am digging the format with the loved ones. It really ups the complexity of the social/strategic game which makes everything more interesting. Seeing John and Candice competing against each other might be interesting as well. I really don't know what the best move for Candice would have been with the HII clues. Obviously she is putting a target on his back but on the other hand, how do you really give it to someone else? Also, she probably didn't guess that Brad would be so paranoid that he would start voting off the strongest members of his tribe and part of his own alliance just because there was a chance he might get a HII and not share it with him.
That would have been hilarious if Gervase beat Brad in that challenge. That is essentially a football blocking drill and for an NFL defensive lineman to lose that would be pretty humiliating.
ugh the loved ones are so pathetic, i'm gonna pull my big brother knowledge out here and just place my bets on Hayden, kat's boyfriend. While Hayden's season was really boring and just really boring he played a really good social game, he's probably one of the few physical threats that got game actually. He's is playing survivor just like how he did with big brother, he's silent, doesn't make enemies and does well in challenges. He's probably gonna amp up his game with either the team switch up or the merge.
of the old timers... they really suck, i mean i see more of candice than anyone else and she's on redemption island, it's just that these guys are boring, now i'll miss colton, and yea i just finished survivior 24, omg that season was so boring. Colton woulda made it to final three if he didn't chicken out, and yes of course he was vile, and it wasn't strategy, you could tell he's just rotten that way, but he was able to convince a bunch of alpha males to give up immunity that they won to vote off a black guy, he basically KKK'd them, that's skills.
i think the best parts would be when they use redemption island as a way to hurt the others, otherwise it's boring.
I would say Hayden's biggest challenge is going to be his loved-one. Kat is pretty annoying and with Colton gone, she and Garvis(sp?) will probably start to irritate everyone a lot more on the other tribe. I like the loved-one twist, but I really could do without Redemption still. This is going to be a very unique merge when it happens and I'm looking forward to it.
kat is the youngest returning right? normally i don't think that would be an issue, since the only other returning pretty girl candice is on redemption island, they wtf go away bitch'd her right away. But the returning players can't play "mom" with kat since their real kids are actually on the other tribe so yea, i think you're right, her young stupidness is gonna irritate ppl, and hayden would probably step up for her since he would actually have a better shot at redemption island (imo there's more big brother type challenges on redemption island), and kat is just stupid.
normally tina and laura would probably just take kat under their wing and treat her all daughter like, but since their real daughters are here, they don't have time to baby kat.
I am so fucking pissed at Probst and the Producers. How in fucks name do you bring back Colton, if you KNEW he faked an illness to remove himself last time. This changes everything. I was ok with them bringing back a big personality and a villain when it was purportedly a medical removal. If you remember, Colton was in a pretty good position when he left the game the first time, with an idol in his pocket.
I have lost all faith in this show and it's runners. The "loved-one" gimmick just sucks, plain and simple... but I can excuse them on that for trying something new. BUT, to knowingly bring back a quitter in Colton AND also the most fail-gimmick of all time, Redemption, is just un-excusable.
well colton was still listed as medically taken away, by the medical team, so he wasn't "really" a quitter. probst can only suspect that colton faked it and quit, but the team still took him away, so by all accounts he should be eligible for reappearing.
i watched s22 redemption island and it was pathetic. I think that's all the show wants is to drum up a matt story. the dumb boy wanted a showmance, then he got sent to redemption island, won 6x, got stupid got sent back and won another 4x b4 loosing. he basically dominated a whole season while in solitary. if anything his story is why redemption island doesn't work. even if you somehow superman it through 6 challenges, it basically means 1 day with the tribe b4 you head back to redemption island. I would have rather have watched s22 from matt's point of view. Day 5 he get's sent to redemption island, meets the biggest survivor looser in history francesca, and proceeds to destroy all the competition. Then he just waits, all alone, for a new challenger and destroys that challenger.

he said ppl already made alliances beforehand, and he was making them during but aras had alliances with everyone and he was screwed cuz he was trying to get rid of aras, he said aras is running it

He said he knew he was gonna get sent to redemption, but he decided to quit when he saw rupert lost, cuz that's when he saw that redemption island is all about being flexible and nimble and his fiance' isn't that, because if colton got sent to redemption island the fiance' would for sure take his place and he'd loose.
so tldr, colton quit cuz he was gonna be sent to RI and fiance' would take over but would loose cuz too fat.

As far as Colton, it sounds like he's just a quitter. Just because the deck is stacked against you, you quit? And we already knew about the pre-formed alliance due to RC. That's why Candace was voted out immediately.
Colton was just pathetic. Look at Cochran. He's the nerdiest, least physical guy you could ever come up with. His first season he fought like hell to survive. Last season he won it all in a perfect game (no votes to evict and all votes to win). He was sunburnt to hell and miserable but he never quit. Colton was just a pussy. On his first season, everything was going his way and he still couldn't hack it. This season he couldn't stand the fact that everyone wasn't falling in line with him (despite his tribe winning all challenges to that point) and quit. He's a pussy and a quitter.
basically all the ones that had blood relations (mom/daughter/niece) vs. the married/dating/fiance ppl
since rc/dad had to pull out and they flew in candice/jon the whole concept was scrapped (cuz it'd be 12 vs. 8) and they went with returnees vs. noobs.
Caleb/Hayden/Rupert/Brad/Tyson would have crushed Aras/Vytas/Gervase/RC's Dad (unless this guy is The Hulk or something).
When you throw in Colton, that's 6 genetic males against 4. I really doubt that was the original idea.
this is what colton said in an interview (blood team v. water team) and the only reason why he went on, cuz he thought he would be able to compete with (not against) his fiance, i'm just relaying and i believe him.
the blood team would seem to rely heavily on aras/vtas, gervais and rc dad would be useless. i would have been interested to see who these teams would have sent to redemption island first. blood team would probably have sent rc dad, water team... laura still? even on that team she'd seem the weakest.
I'm not going to swear it's never happened, but I don't remember them ever casting an unequal amount of men and women on a team. It would put one team at a significant disadvantage.
Colton is trying to make himself look good (or, at least, less bad)...there is no reason that you should believe him.
quite simply cuz the numbers match what he says. if it had been rc + dad, it would be 10v10 blood vs water. It would actually seem like a different format, they've had old v young, other races, and now to see how a team of blood related ppl vs ppl that found each other, i think would have been different.

Rachel: I think mostly just because we all really had hopes that we were gonna be playing together. When they asked us to come on the show, it was like, "Hey, do you want to play with Rachel? Do you want to play with Tyson? Do you want to go out there and play together?" and we're like, "Yeah! That'd be awesome." So I think it was just kinda hopes that we were gonna be together and be able to play together for a little while, set up a strategy, see how things are going in the game. So as much as we all knew it could possibly happen, I think, for me, I knew I was surprised that it was on that very first day.
it "sounds" like they were approached as a couple to do a "couple" thing and they'd eventually be split off, but not split off right at the beginning.
look i'm not a colton fan and i did finally see one world (season was boring after he got medvac'd) but the numbers match up and even rachel is eluding to this as how the producers approached tyson/rachel. (i'll see if there's any rupert interviews, but i hate rupert stuff)
