Just because that's how they approached them and that's how they perceived it/wanted it to be does not mean that it was EVER the producer's intent. They are playing Survivor together...just not the way they thought/hoped they'd be playing it together. It's more dramatic this way...they have to compete AGAINST their loved ones in competition...they have to WAIT until Redemption Island to see if their person was voted out, then they have to make the choice to switch or not. The way you're seeing it is the way it was planned. The other way isn't as dramatic and doesn't add up male/female wise.
You can stop trying to make the square peg fit in the round hole now.

Edit* Unless you can find me a quote from a Producer on the show saying they were going to go that way. What the contestants thought/hoped/perceived means nothing.

I don't care what Colton said in some interview. He's a wormy pathological person, and when wormy pathological chaos didn't help him and his antics were largely ignored by his tribemates, he left the game. He stomps his feet and holds his breath until his face turns blue and when that doesn't work, he takes his toys and goes home. Obviously.

The producers brought him back after hefaked an illness to quitin a previous season, after that nonsense + this season's horrible setup I would not putanystupid move past the guys running this.

Hopefully you're right though.

Did you miss the part where it was said that theyknewhe faked that illness to quit? They should have revised his shit to being labled as a quitter and he should not have been brought back. I'm sure that's why he wasn't part of the reunion show.

I'm not sure why you're defending this horrible decision and this total scumbag.

To be fair, he could have really felt like shit or thought he was sick. Jeff simply said he didn't have appendicitis as originally suspected. Colton sucks, though, so I don't really want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

i'm not defending him, but saying, the only reason he was even allowed back was because he was taken out by medical, a medical team took him out. did he have an appendicitis? no, he never got surgery for that. he was treated for a bacterial infection, which is what the medical team probably mis-diagnosed as an appendicitis, still it was the medical teams decision to pull him out of the game.

I mean we can't argue that can we? if medical, pulls you out, you're out they have the ultimate say.

what can we believe? that colton at age 19 is such a good liar that he can fake appendicitis and fool a medical team (not just one doctor, there seems to be at least 3 ppl there).

also just entertain this, watching one world, there is no reason for him to get out, (other than he hated it there). He was controlling the team, he had that spanish special ed teacher on lock down and she was his attack dog. He was working on christina as his next out, by doing those high school insults, and he had an immunity idol.

jeff is only saying that stuff that they "knew" he faked it, cuz that's what "we" as the audience wants to hear, jeff in a sense is our voice, because that's also what we want to say. But if he says that, then he admits that colton can fool a professional medical team.

That was excellent. I was already becoming a fan of Caleb and now I am rooting for him to win even if he might share the money with fucking Colton.

It's going to be awkward as fuck on redemption island between Brad and Candice.

after candice and brad won, they showed like 5 minutes of them on redemption island and i was like "ugh so annoying". Now i just want the next episode to be all redemption island. You know what was more irritating? jeff saying culpepper every 10seconds. that team of noobs quite possibily has the worst girls in survivor history, and i saw lots of marathoned seasons.

speaking of past seasons, i saw s12 with aras, omg he was boring, why did ppl like him? he's like 19th interesting person on that season. I would rather see cierri a 4th time than aras now.

Hell the noobs are fcking up so bad half the episode is dedicated to the "aftermath" of loosing, since that's all they do, and the other half of the episode is dedicated to the redemption island challenge, really the returnee's have zero screen time cuz their loved ones just suck at challenges since the format is now

15 minutes RI, 5 minutes RI moments, 2minutes returnee stupid storyline, 10minutes challenge, 20 minutes noob scramble and TC.

man i really feel bad for hayden, he and brad did half the work in the challenge too. hayden dived for those boxes and he's the one that solved the staircase puzzle.

now he's stuck with the 2 most worthless girls. these girls only had to meet 1 criteria, be the offspring of a returnee, all other girls were either

1. the average woman/old
2. pretty and dumb
3. pretty and athletic
4. other (recruited b/c they had to fill the race quota for s13)

gay guy made such a big move, especially for a noob i really think he really really wanted to play survivor. cuz i know hayden would never make a move on brad until merge (that's his big brother mo, keep the heat on someone else, stay low and dominate challenges), and former drug addict guy, is just there.

we all saw the preview, i think monica saw that the challenge favor'd a woman (balance) more. it looks like you have to go up a ramp balance and goto the other end. She has an amazing yoga body, so i'm sure she'd be great at balance

Unfortunately, this is the part of Survivor where they'd mix up the tribes because the one tribe is getting spanked so fucking hard. But with this new wrinkle of cross-tribe alliances based on family, I don't even know how you can do that.

This episode was pretty boring since there wasn't a whole lot of strategy to talk about post-immunity challenge. I have a feeling it's going to suck hard until something is done about that piss poor tribe.
