While I agree that Alecia seems annoying at times, I also feel bad for her. Survivor obviously did some weird thing this season where they put a fish out of water on each tribe that doesn't quite fit the stereotype of the tribe and she just does not jive well in that mix. They seemed to have it out for "the little blonde barbie doll" from the start before she proved annoying. She seems to have been set up for failure from the start. Ce est le Survivor.

Not really feeling any love (nor do I really hate anyone just yet) for any one single player. I'd probably find good humor *cough* if the rich ice cream entrepreneur guy won it.

Noooo not Winnie Cooper! Her and Dr. Social Awareness really annoyed me at tribal though.

The whole BvBvB theme is a facade. Probst and the other producers are admitting it when they put someone like Alecia on the brawn team. In a week or two, after the merges start happening, nobody will even remember the who was on which original tribe. Overall, I think this has been a great season so far.

-Tai is making a strong case for MVP of the season. The guy is pure entertainment gold. Hopefully Probst will keep feeding him HII's and keep him around till the end.
-Anna is a goddess.
-Debbie is a Coach Wade/Special Agent Philip Sheppard superstar. Take her about as serious as you would Borat and enjoy the show.
-Liz reminded me of the AT&T wireless girl. Understated beauty that gets even hotter the more you see her. Too bad she hitched her wagon to the wrong horse.

Yeah, we were calling Debbie "Philipa" because she reminds of The Specialist!

Blasphemy! I like Debbie's entertainment value just fine so far, but if she wants to be anywhere near as hilarious as 'The Specialist', she'll have to crank it up to 11. she's at best at 5 for the moment.

Pretty entertaining episode. Liked the quick vote at tribal. Sad for
Caleb, he seemed like a good dude.
NBA guy and Bounty Hunter had a few awesome lines. Was very impressed by how Bounty Hunter wouldn't leave her side. And where was ER doc the whole time? I think I saw his sleeve once?

Sorry for being vague on names, I don't bother learning names till about halfway through.

Holy crap, looked like Caleb damn near croaked. Gotta feel bad for the guy having to exit like that. Poor Tai lost his spoon-buddy! That did look pretty fucking miserable digging around in the sun like that for an hour or so, the sand cooking them quite literally.

So, looks like a 'drop your buffs, we're mixing the teams' next week. Will be interesting to see who ends up with whom.

I hope something happens that brings about more personality from some of these people than we've seen so far. Kinda bleh so far. Some semi-strong personalities, a tiny bit of quirkiness but nothing major other than some boiling frustrations from a tribe that can't stop stepping on its own dick. Brawn tribe wasn't even fun drama. I felt miserable just watching them.

What's up with Jason's (wife told me his name) shoulders? I looks like he cut up his shirt and put patches on his sunburn. Only they don't move?! I feel like if he did that we're going to see him med evaced in a few days due to a crazy infection due to the skin growing around dirty cotton fibers.

Glad I'm not the only one that couldn't stop looking at his shoulders the entire episode. Too bad about Caleb...back to back weeks with my favorite players going home. :/

This season is legit.

Blondie must have been annoying as fuck, because I think the guys were a bit harder on her than they needed to be. Sucks for Caleb, he could have gone a long ways in the game.

I have to imagine that the challenge really made the producers rethink what they are going to put them through in the future. Losing half your cast because you had them dig around in the sand for an hour in 110 degree temps is bad for business.

Heh, I thought the exact same thing. I had Liz and Caleb as a couple of my early favorites. Man, 3 people went down, and the only one I liked is the one that has to be evacuated. That really sucked.

I actually looked over to my wife tonight and asked her that same question. Have to wonder if they go to another destination that is this hot, and if so how they will handle the challenges.

I think it would have been better had people not had to sit out. The circle they had to dig was fucking large.

Debbie saying, "I have heat stroke," made me so angry when she had none of the symptoms.

I heard past survivors say the sand digging challenge is the worst, cuz you're like shoving your hands in near scalding tempuratures.

Btw, i believe this is the most important spoiler preview for next week

Good episode. I really felt bad for Caleb. Dude pulled off the win and then just crumpled. He was kind of annoying on Big Brother, but he was probably who I was pulling for the most on this season of Survivor.

Alecia is one of those chicks that plays the, "sweet, positive, and innocent!" facade in front of everyone, but she's really just a shit stirrer, instigator, and does everything she can to get on your last nerve behind closed doors.

I was trying to decide if she just got a bad edit or really was so incredibly insufferable. The bounty hunter and NBA guys seem like grade a douches, but it really seems that Alecia was really that bad. Plus she was hot and I wanted to pull for her.

Sucks for Caleb, guy was hilarious and great at challenges.

It was 118 degrees when they were doing that challenge. Nearly an hour in that hot ass sand, that was soaking up all that heat, and it's amazing that more people didn't drop. The dream team tested it, with flags marking where the bags were, thus completely blowing any sort of real sample of how long the challenge would take right off the bat. Was completely dumb on the Producer's part, and yes, I am completely bitter as I was looking forward to Caleb and Tai's odd couple thing playing out post merge.
