Man, this show is getting darker and more brutal every episode. His weapon and him cutting off tongues, hearts, ripping out guts paired with the sound effects is really gruesome. I still love it though. The series pace and tone is similiar with the way Hardy walks through the show. Steady and menacing.

And it got even darker/brutal in Ep 7 I just finished watching it & WOW! I love this show.

Good. I looked it up the other day and this was available.
Tom Hardy sorta maybe confirms Taboo season 2: 'We're onto the next stage'

Slow at first, simple and gritty. Finished the season a couple of days ago. I like Hardy the way I like Vin Diesel. I thought of them as dumb action guys at first, but they're really not. They are good at what they do and that is making smart, swift, no frills type of shit.

A bit late to the party, but I just saw this. Interesting show. I was surprised to read in this thread a season 2 has been in the work for years though, especially since a new season will have to be very different from the first. Potentially interesting also, but very different.
