Playing Uncharted 1 right now and holy fuck what a beautiful job they did with this remaster.
The only other remaster that I'd say is as good or better is Gears of War. The water looks great .

Preordered a PS4 pro. I'm not sure how I feel about Sony segregating their player base. At the moment I think you'll want a pro if you intend to game on the PS4.
Microsoft has no idea what they are doing with the Scorpio yet. The way things are going we may be better off just keeping gaming PCs and getting xbox controllers to cover that side of things.

Another thing I want to point out is that this will probably increase performance across the board. Let me explain...
If a game is locked at 30 fps, that lock isn't going to change unless a patch comes out that increases the locked framerate. They have already said for things like Destiny this isn't happening.
Think about Fallout 4 for a second - you know how it drops to ~10 fps when you zoom in with a sniper rifle? Those kind of dips aren't going to be as bad with a faster CPU and GPU.
While having the framerate locked at 30 fps isn't ideal, having a consistent framerate greatly improves gameplay overall. Patches will be welcome, but the hardware update will help everything across the board. I don't put faith in the idea that the existing games were designed in a way that would detect and prevent this kind of performance boost. Especially when it's something that can be controlled with vsync.

Indeed, that is disappointing because ReCore looked interesting when first announced. I'm definitely not getting it after reading the reviews, but it would be nice to see how Play Anywhere works with the Forza demo at least. UWP fucked up games like Quantum Break and Rise of the Tomb Raider (Windows Store version) royally but they claim to have fixed the worst of the problems.

i pre ordered it on best buy cuz it came with a free hat. A FREE HAT YO. arrives today too weirdly, but not digital so no x-play
anyways PS4 4.0 firmware will be pushed out tomorrow to everyone. been running the beta a few weeks, no problems. folder support is nice, I put all the old ps2 classic games I had into one folder

played ReCore for about an hour, pretty meh on the game. It is definitely a bit buggy, had to exit and reload when I got stuck behind a door like 15 mins into the game. Load times are atrocious, like 20-40 secs not just saves but zones/levels. Controls are a bit janky, while movement is pretty fluid combat is meh and your pet robot dog is cool but he is always making sounds so its hard to tell if there is a collectible near you or its just his derpy ass. All in all not that impressed, I plat'd Ratchet and Clank recently and that was like 400% better than Recore.

Why would you preorder a 0.5 console? Do you think they will sell out and you wont be able to play any PS games on Day one?

Why wouldn't you pre-order something you know you want to buy? I certainly wouldn't wait until the day of if I wanted a Pro, whether or not it looks like there's any chance of it selling out. I'd just put in an order on Amazon right now and forget about it until they send an email telling me it shipped.
