Gotcha. I thought UPNP was a bit more universal though, don't PCs use it too?

If so, I guess it just reroutes the ports or the router can handshake around it or some such?

You should have UPNP unblocked at all times imo.

UPNP is a lot of things which is why they decided to make DLNA use those ports.

Not seen much of the Xbox, so watched some of this series.



So many things gone wrong, and have to say, after skimming through the first 6 episodes of this series, I have little to no desire to own that machine.

Kinect seems a bust. Voice commands seem broken. TV features not working properly. Basically it seems that everything that was supposed to set it apart from the competition are not working right. They were also able to purchase a console from the store the day after release day, I thought the Xbox was sold out like the PS4?
