Don't see the big deal. Resolution and/or Framerate are going to be the tradeoff with the power differences going forward. That's always going to be the case unless a game doesn't push the systems much. That's the price you pay for buying an Xbone.

I got a PS4 for christmas from the lady. I also got a plus subscription. The entire interface of the PS4 is still littered with "Buy PS+ Now!" and "Subscribe NOW!" tiles -
That, and launch titles are for nincompoops. I hate FPS.
I'm not super impressed.
Also, I can't play my PS3 copy of Diablo 3 (digital purchase) on my PS4.

You mean the interface for the store, right? I have 0 ads for anything outside of the store.
They really do need to disable the ads for people who already subscribe. It gets rather annoying to have to scroll past them every time knowing full well that I already have the damn subscription.
The ps3 wasn't as annoying I can only assume that in an update or two they'll make it similar on the PS4. I agree it is annoying.

Well, they're certainly not in stores if they really have that many made somewhere. I'd guess they're holding onto at least 1 million for the Japanese launch which is coming up in just a couple weeks.

Just because one of his numbers was right doesn't mean the other one is.
I've never seen a PS4 in the wild. Ever. Whereas the Target I hit tonight had 5 XB1s sitting on the shelves, and I've seen dozens if not hundreds over the last couple months at various stores*, again, compared to zero PS4s.
*And no, they aren't the same units, as in between the stocks of XB1s have emptied out and then been replenished. They are being purchased in my area, albeit not as quickly as they are being supplied.
That said, it's entirely possible they are sitting around in bulk on European shelves, or in warehouses for the Japanese launch... but the lack of internet evidence of oversupply in Europe makes me think that your assumptions are wrong. (E.g. Sony could easily be making 1.4 mil/month now, but the first few months were only 700k or 1 Mil/month, explaining the 'oversupply' that there is no evidence exists.)
I'm positive they have stock saved for Japanese launch - they wouldn't have time to make more on the fly by now.
