I would be more upset if I paid for the EA Access and only got 6 hours of play out of one of the 4 full games they announced. Madden NFL 15 is early access demo; that being said, 6 hours still seems weak.

Eh, really depends on if they follow through adding things to the vault, hoping Need for Speed is added in the next couple months. I've put enough time into FIFA to justify EA Access for the year. Would prefer to try Madden on PS4 though and not having the option is shitty.
Really though, $5 to give it a shot for a month is nothing if you want even just one of the vault titles, and $30 for a year is pretty inexpensive if you want more than one of them, knowing you'll get to try the full version of games like Dragon Age and the sports titles if they're your thing. News is very disappointing either way, hope the feedback is deafening enough that they make some changes.

The August update doesn't include the USB video stuff. It looks like whoever is a Previewer for Xbox now has access to the "September patch" which will include a new media app with USB support, DLNA etc...
I wish the PS4 would make their UI like the Xbox one.

When I switched to the XB1 I had a hard time with the UI being more used to the playstation XMB. It has grown on me and so long as you don't open too much stuff, everything you want is right in front of you. I still don't use "snap" too much as I feel it takes a lot of real-estate, I mostly use it to check and monitor achievements while playing games... mostly.
Whats cool is you can control the volume on the snap app in the corner, and your main game.

The impression would be that none of those 72 games would be EA games, and im pretty sure they are targeting certain people also. I myself got EA access and since then i beat BF4 SP and put alot of hours into FIFA with some friends. Ive played my XB1 w/ FIFA alone more hours than i put into my PS4 in months outside Destiny alpha.
I dont even have an active PS+ sub anymore, and when i did i would download games and never play them anyways - To be fair both systems are pretty ass atm but $5 to wreck some face in FIFA was kinda worth it.

Nod its all valid concerns really - Someone went on to say what is Ubi, Acti and such all decided to do similar things - then people would be shelling out $30 a year to various companies as a service.
This would be a very bad step in a dangerous direction, however its a step not many companies could take atm with limited titles available on current gen systems. I wouldnt be surprised if this time next year more services like EA access arent on the horizon.

Madden has been bad for years - i havent really been into football games since like Joe Montana and NFL Gameday - The main reason i hit up EA access was for FIFA and to do the BF4 SP campaign. When Destiny releases i will release the access but for now its small fun for a small cost.
