The ice rink scene was cringe for several reasons most mentioned already. Homelander would have heard Hughie scrambling around the air ducts as soon as the bead of sweat dropped and lasered the fuck out of him. Somehow the dude is halfway across the building and Homelander has no idea where he is at. Also the unnecessary violence of all the skaters dying seemed out of place until I noticed is was the Jesus character doing all the mayhem and then it all made much more sense when I saw Seth Rogans name in the credits. He never passes up a chance to ridicule Jesus or Christmas and then claim anti-semitism when there is backlash. Also are they dubbing Ryans voice with a voice of a 12 year old girl? That shit seemed very weird when him and Butcher were hanging out.

One of the season "twists" will be that Ryan tells his dad he is now a they/them "girl" and Homelander throws a tantrum/rant about only being two genders. Which he then tells his dad that he has been talking to Butcher about it and Butcher accepts him for who he is, then flies off.

I don't pay a ton of attention to actors and honestly had no idea he was the Sheriff in Banshee, either.

Yeah I was shocked this guy is Lucas Hood and Homelander. Antony Starr deserves an Emmy or three. Dude is so different than the characters he portrays on TV.

Just seeing that actor, I would not have instantly thought Homelander. It takes listening to him a bit to hear the voice. I loved the Goat milk part. That was enjoyable to watch. That might have been more entertaining than the first 3 episodes.

He can't help himself. Obviously, he doesn't care about upsetting the MAGA crowd but he seems very rattled by the wide rejection of Frenchie's faggification and ruining the Kimiko love story by non political normies.
