As for Smok, I loved the tank and all the options and still have it but I found it hard to get coils I wanted locally and at the time the rebuildable was terrible it came with but I think I had the first releases of it. I mostly gave up on Smok due to the gasket breaking down( the little rubber piece at the top with the fill hole ) and because I was going through juice about 400% faster and it got to where I was spending $90 a month on 300 ml of juice and $30 a month on coils for the damn thing but boy I never had a craving for a smoke with it.
I used to do all my Kanger rebuilds as well and have 4 rbas due to having several sub/top tank kits over time but this year I've been lazy and just ordering 5 pack of coils.

Is that a 'squonk' box or an RDTA? I bought an aeronaut clone I am waiting for a tank version of that dripper. Squonk box looks like 1K places to weep and leak.

I see a lot of people rocking those. But I skipped past all those fancy systems. I have gone full retard into dripping, chasing the flavor dragon twisting wire in drills to make better coils.

I expect soon I will be holding a soaked cottonball with tweezers while I stab it with a soldering iron.

If i start posting coil porn on instagram I know its time for an intervention.

My next thing to go full tard on is DIY juice. Going to go balls deep with that a soon as I get my tax refund.

You probably already know this but just in case you dont. If you are vaping sub-ohm, make sure you do a low amount of nic juice for the love of god or it's gonna hurt. I think I did 6mg when I vaped for .5 ohm coils

When I first started I was sub-ohming 24-18 nic in a Smok tank. I smoked unfiltered cigs and pretty hardcore pipe tobacco so it didn't thrash me too badly and I needed that fat nic dose. But as my throat and lungs started to 'heal' I had to drop to 12 by the 3rd week. And now I am down to 6. It became about getting away from the pepper taste of nic that was spoiling the flavor fog. I will still drip a fill of 12 on rare occasions just to get a heavy buzz when drinking an espresso. I can still bang 12 in a Smok tank no problem, and I seem to chain vape if its only 6. The dripper is just too potent a delivery system for12. Now my biggest problem is getting 'vaper tongue' from the Aeronaut because it makes such saturated cloud it blows out your taste buds after a while.

Im still old school and sporting a evic mini, one battery mod, vapng at 12.5w, 1.5ohm home rolled coil in a kanger top tank and 20mg juice. I tried the whole sub ohm thing for a while and hated it. Was going through way too much juice, the mods were fucking ginormous, going through batteries like a whores dildo too. Fuck that. Nice small mod to fit nicely in pocket, one battery lasts me all day, and one tank lasts me all day. Plus im not pufffng on the 3mg shit like a fiend all day long.

Best of all the mods are cool and only like $34 from fasttech, and the tanks can be had for $25. They are so cheap I order them by 2 or 3 at a time to have backups. Never a worse feling then dropping your shit getting out of car or whatever, and having to wait for a few days to get a new hookup, or even worse driving around to vape shops which charge $20 markup on all this shit.

any experience DIY'ing juice?

Yep, been doing it for like 3 rs now.

RTS vapes is the place to go. Buy the 100mg PG base nic, its easiest to figure out formulas for and it lasts a long time. You buy a 250ml bottle and it will last you for a year if not more. The recipes I usually go for is roughly 20% flavor give or take, base PG or VG depending on your end mix, and amount of nic. So for like a 30ml bottle I mix something like 6ml flavor or mix of flavors, 6ml of nic (to end up at 20%, what I puff) and the rest is VG to get to roughly 50/50 mix since flavor and nic base is all PG base.

Get a ejuice calculator app on our phone. It will make it a breeze figuring out how much of the 100mg nic you need for your desired strength.

I do the minty stuff but my wife likes the fruity shit so I do all kinds of flavors for her.

20% flavor or mix of flavor
XX% nic depending on your strength and if you vape at sub ohm or not
Filler base to get to 100%

Some flavors need to steep for a while to get better. what i do with all mu juices is put them in a simmering water bath for a few min to get all that shit started.

For the last few years I have been mixing 120ml bottles of the favorites for me and the wife. They usually last about a month or more and save me the time to make shitty little 30ml bottles.

Be careful about the 100mg nic stuff, its deadly. I dont wear gloves but if your a noob, wear some to be safe. when you get done with the nic bottle, cap it tightly and rinse it under water, then store in freezer to keep fresh.

I measure all my shit with the drug store baby meds syringes and droppers. They are all graduated in ml. The syringe goes up to 10ml and the dropper is 5ml. It might not be as accurate as weighing it, but it works for me and why fuck with methodology thats been working for me.

Best and most available are the Flavor Apprentice flavors. they have 100s of flavors for you to try and experiment. some of my wifes faves are strawberries and cream which I mix 4ml strawberry ripe with 2ml vanilla swirl for a 30ml bottle. They have all kinds of flavors for you to fuck with. And if you do some searching around the web, people have already tried a whole shit ton of trial and error and have many good recipes out there. But I try to keep it simple and mix like 2 at a time, mostly a base flavor 4-5ml and an accent flavor 1-2ml, but fuck, go hog wild and try some shit. you are the master.

Depends, some are duds and some are fucking good. The best thing is not spending $15 for a 30ml bottle,more like $1 of not less. Thats worth it enough for me to try and come up with some shit. The major stores are doing the same shit, although they have the means and resources to come up with and taste test better mixtures with more flavors. You can do the same though. Mix up some 10ml testers.

Remember though some flavors need to steep some. Some flavors taste like shit when you first mix, but you put it on a shelf for a week or two and they ripe into something good. Keep that in mind too. Best thing to do is come up with an all day vape formula that you like and keep with that, brew big batches, and then experiment with the smaller batches until you find a few that you like. They have copy cat recipes on line you can find too if you want to replicate some famous brand.

Me and the wife have our faves and I just brew those now. She likes her pineapple and I like my peppermint candy.

I was grabbing 'in-house' juice made by local shops, all of it was garbage and the prices weren't much better than mail order for premium stuff.

I finally pulled the trigger on going DIY, I ordered a scale and bottles from Amazon. And bases and nic from NudeNic ( top rated by a bunch of DIY forums). Also ordered some premade flavor profiles. I have a background in chemical handling so not a big deal. Next up is ordering a bunch of flavors to fuck around with.
