It's only really testable in larger fights in cyrodiil.I have never tried chain casting like that but will go check out the behavior this weekend and see if I can replicate the weapon swap delay problem.

So that makes you the Anti-Preacher then. 6 Threads is commitment to a driven cause.I've had that talk with a large number of people on this forum, haha, and violate that rule more than anyone.
One time on the mod forum someone was bitching about Izo and an argument they had, I said something like, "If you're arguing with Izo it's your own fault. Also I'm arguing with him in 6 different threads right now."
Your problem is you make the stupid assumption that I am always defending TESO. Couldn't be further from the truth but that's what you have convinced yourself to be the case.I remember this time I told a story of banging my head against the wall because I was arguing with someone who thought the earth was 6000 years old. I remeber Tuco saying he blamed me for arguing with that person. That was major wisdom right there.
You don't always defend ESO. You do frequently step up to argue with people who know more about ESO than you and despite having no personal experience or knowledge of the systems being discussed almost always defend ESO with no useful information to support your claims.Your problem is you make the stupid assumption that I am always defending TESO. Couldn't be further from the truth but that's what you have convinced yourself to be the case.
A lot of people here, who don't know all of the facts, tend to jump to conclusion and always assume they are correct. I don't know all the facts but I at least try to look at things from multiple angles and consider all the possibilities. Sometimes that means looking at things from the developers perspective, which I have some insight to how they think thanks to being a software engineer myself. Some of you get hell bent out of shape and think I am defending ZOS when in reality all I am doing is tossing out another possibility or angle to consider.
With that said, based on the information that has come to light today for the first time, I am willing to bet anyone here who in the past has called me a shill or claimed I always defend ZOS a six pack of beer (Yuengling) that spamming ability keys before the animation completes is the primary root cause of weapon swap delay.
Spamming abilities has nothing to do with weapon swap delay, instead spamming weapon swap hotkey while the server is unable to accept new actions is what causes it.Your problem is you make the stupid assumption that I am always defending TESO. Couldn't be further from the truth but that's what you have convinced yourself to be the case.

This may explain why I am not having a major problem with weapon swap delay like you are. I am so used to playing games with global cooldowns that I don't spam ability buttons. I press a key, wait for the ability to fire and animation to complete and then I press another key.
This gave me a huge laugh. I played a WoW Rogue for years but I've never spammed my abilities. One button press at the end of an animation or right before a GCD ends does the exact same thing; and whenever I watch others' gameplay videos and I see a "that ability isn't ready" or "you can't do that yet" message spammed on their screen it annoys the fuck out of me, LOL.You definitely never played a rogue in WoW.
I never played a rogue but there's two reasons to do it: 1. Cognitive burden where spamming an ability is easier than timing it correctly. 2. It's likely that spamming an ability and letting the UI sort it out will results in better times than timing it yourself. This gave me a huge laugh. Better, get a G15 or similar and take the mathematics and carpal tunnel out of the equation....I never played a rogue but there's two reasons to do it: 1. If only ESO had a stable enough client and ability response to warrant such optimization.Better, get a G15 or similar and take the mathematics and carpal tunnel out of the equation....
I wouldn't worry about it. You're obviously close to being, if not already, Fan #1 for the game on this thread. Nothing wrong with that, someone has to be. Most people can see that for sure.Your problem is you make the stupid assumption that I am always defending TESO. Couldn't be further from the truth but that's what you have convinced yourself to be the case.

You should check his post history then, because besides calling out Utnayan on closed beta bullshit, he's quite far from Blackwulf's "hardcore candor". While I don't agree with some of his opinions regarding MMO gaming, I'd say he's pretty accurate when it comes to TESO beta knowledge, dev team fallacious promises and amateur game design decisions. You're obviously close to being, if not already, Fan #1 for the game on this thread.
Probably gonna sub for a month to see how the game turns out : Eu server, weapon swap, vampire nerf, AoE cap, etc. But I'm also considering either trading some paypal stuff to get AA alpha or paying $130 (the Archeage thread made me moist). It's nothing from my PoV, it's like buying 2 PS4 / XBone 4h gameplay console games.Resubbing, will play AA when it comes out but won't pay $150 for an alpha.
Don't hate the playa, hate the game. You guys sound like haters.
