I remember this time I told a story of banging my head against the wall because I was arguing with someone who thought the earth was 6000 years old. I remeber Tuco saying he blamed me for arguing with that person. That was major wisdom right there.

I've had that talk with a large number of people on this forum, haha, and violate that rule more than anyone.

One time on the mod forum someone was bitching about Izo and an argument they had, I said something like, "If you're arguing with Izo it's your own fault. Also I'm arguing with him in 6 different threads right now."

So that makes you the Anti-Preacher then. 6 Threads is commitment to a driven cause.

Your problem is you make the stupid assumption that I am always defending TESO. Couldn't be further from the truth but that's what you have convinced yourself to be the case.

A lot of people here, who don't know all of the facts, tend to jump to conclusion and always assume they are correct. I don't know all the facts but I at least try to look at things from multiple angles and consider all the possibilities. Sometimes that means looking at things from the developers perspective, which I have some insight to how they think thanks to being a software engineer myself. Some of you get hell bent out of shape and think I am defending ZOS when in reality all I am doing is tossing out another possibility or angle to consider.

With that said, based on the information that has come to light today for the first time, I am willing to bet anyone here who in the past has called me a shill or claimed I always defend ZOS a six pack of beer (Yuengling) that spamming ability keys before the animation completes is the primary root cause of weapon swap delay.

You don't always defend ESO. You do frequently step up to argue with people who know more about ESO than you and despite having no personal experience or knowledge of the systems being discussed almost always defend ESO with no useful information to support your claims.

Ex: People say there's weapon swapping problems. Despite not encountering the issue or knowing much about it you make the case that it's caused by some error on the player's part. You then surmise it's caused by players activating abilities before animations are finished which is completely baffling to me since by level 5 I figured out that to execute skills properly you MUST activate abilities before animations are finished.

Spamming abilities has nothing to do with weapon swap delay, instead spamming weapon swap hotkey while the server is unable to accept new actions is what causes it.

Server being unable to accept new actions in large battles is just plebian

This may explain why I am not having a major problem with weapon swap delay like you are. I am so used to playing games with global cooldowns that I don't spam ability buttons. I press a key, wait for the ability to fire and animation to complete and then I press another key.
You definitely never played a rogue in WoW.
This gave me a huge laugh. I played a WoW Rogue for years but I've never spammed my abilities. One button press at the end of an animation or right before a GCD ends does the exact same thing; and whenever I watch others' gameplay videos and I see a "that ability isn't ready" or "you can't do that yet" message spammed on their screen it annoys the fuck out of me, LOL.

I never played a rogue but there's two reasons to do it: 1. Cognitive burden where spamming an ability is easier than timing it correctly. 2. It's likely that spamming an ability and letting the UI sort it out will results in better times than timing it yourself.

Better, get a G15 or similar and take the mathematics and carpal tunnel out of the equation....

I wouldn't worry about it. You're obviously close to being, if not already, Fan #1 for the game on this thread. Nothing wrong with that, someone has to be. Most people can see that for sure.

If 'a lot of people here' think you're constantly defending TESO, it doesn't mean they are right. It just means alot of peoplethink you are constantly defending TESO.

You should check his post history then, because besides calling out Utnayan on closed beta bullshit, he's quite far from Blackwulf's "hardcore candor". While I don't agree with some of his opinions regarding MMO gaming, I'd say he's pretty accurate when it comes to TESO beta knowledge, dev team fallacious promises and amateur game design decisions.

How many are either not resubbing or thinking of not resubbing till the patch up more bugs and fix the crashes?

Also factoring into into it,switching to Arch-Age Alpha with the rest of us?

Resubbing, will play AA when it comes out but won't pay $150 for an alpha.
Probably gonna sub for a month to see how the game turns out : Eu server, weapon swap, vampire nerf, AoE cap, etc. But I'm also considering either trading some paypal stuff to get AA alpha or paying $130 (the Archeage thread made me moist). It's nothing from my PoV, it's like buying 2 PS4 / XBone 4h gameplay console games.

EDIT : endgame wise (RvR of course, who cares about stupid herpderp red circle PvE with smart healing) Eu scene is quite fucked up : 4 campaigns out of 10 are crowded right now, and most of them are desert towns between 1am-7pm. There is strong imbalance, most of the time 1 faction is controlling the whole map, spawn camping the other ones. Powerhouses are running 24 / 48 trains between 8-11pm, Dark Talons-Batswarming everyone and their grandmothers with input delay, freezes and lags. Small scale PvP is most of the time non existant, since vampire abuse forbids fairplay. 4/10 filled campaigns is a huge letdown, it means during primetime there are a lot less than 20k players doing PvP, Eu wise. Regarding population indicators, probably around 10k. I know a large portion of my friendlist doesn't give a damn about PvP, they just want to run Craglorn, loot some shit and sit & wait until next content. But since RvR needs numbers to live, and regarding ZOS AMA on Reddit, I'd say this game is pretty much doomed. There is noway they'll provide so much update / fixes / balance / new features while working on console release. Craglorn was most likely a launch feature who got delayed because they work in teams (hello VR12).

2nd EDIT : I'll never ask for a refund, leveling was fun, VR grind wasn't that awful and first PvP nights were kind of fun. Nevertheless, no Eu server is a scam, especially when they made the "no eu located server for launch" announcement 15 days before early access. They're just plainful swindlers : why the remotely fuck would I want to play any full price + sub MMO in 2014 with +150ms latency ??? Bitch, I have 300Mb FttH fiber optic with non-existant ping, why the tapdancing fuck would some Matt Firor cunt promise me a "lag free, latency free" experience when there's a bigass 9000 kilometers GIGANTIC OCEAN between me and the servers ??? Some of my friends already got a refund because they just can't play the game without major latency. I don't care about bread for your kids, if you're working for ZOS right now, you're worse than Enron.
