Wasn't his issue that he has no form of income? I mean if he gets 50k per mission and he has several missions per year. He could make a loan. But we don't know if he is getting paid or who he's working for. And why be a shrimpin boat cappin if he's out on these missions and his sister is noping out because she sucks at it.
I think the stats are that he was gone for 5 years, he's only been back for about 5-6 months.. since the end of end game. In this time, yeah he has gone on what seems one mission. The only thing I have to relate toward contracts of anything close to Falcon's caliber is my dad time as USAF Special Operations.. which isn't much but I do know that the actual missions are few and far between with a lot of training exercises thorough out. He tries to put up leverage that he does have contracts lined up, so that he is good for the money(iirc).. but the problem is more of "now" than later. The dude is insistent on knowing his income on a personal level, wanting to know how it works, if Stark is bankrolling it.. but he shuts it down and goes on about "in good faith". Buuut i'm playing it off the top of my head, and don't care to go over analyze the actual conversation.. I just believe it did lay out some groundwork moving forward.
The problem is Falcon isn't just some random nobody. He belongs to a well recognized group The Avengers who just so happened to save the world. You are telling me he has no one he knows who can help him out with a loan for 100k. Not the government, not Shield, not any of his Avenger homies, not anyone who would be thrilled to sponsor him.
There are a few nods to the fact that while he is on the Avengers, he is a b-tier, c-tier hero. He's not Cap, Ironman, Thor, or Hulk.. even in Endgame, children don't even know who Lang is. In the show, the dude thought he was a football player. Aside from that, yeah, there could probably be a hotline to someone that can help.. but my assumption is that the whole Stark estate and Potts is going to be the driving point of Armor Wars.. which is a confirmed series. The US Govt obviously doesn't care, he gets congratulated on turning in the shield, and by the end of the episode the same guy announces a new guy carrying that same exact shield.. so he got chimp'd.
Aside from all that shit lol, I just wanted point out TIL, apparently Derek Kolstad(John Wick, ect) was one of the writers and it was semileaked in an
interview about his experience at mcu? that the episodes he did are Ep 3 and 4.
