Bucky's was always going to have that weight. I would assume they're using Sam's side to show potential real world consequences of bringing back X Billion people in an instant after 5 years of not existing. Not saying they chose a good way to do so, just that it seems to be their reasoning for it.

nah, you should watch it with us, Bucky stuff is good and Sam flying around is pretty decent. basically 25% of this show sucks. at most you can have a lulz over Sam's vanity project as a shrimp boat captain.

Pretty much, but it's a superhero show, so we'll ignore things like his rescue of the Airforce guy in the helicopter would have probably killed both of them due to the impact speed lol

the superhero stuff is "a wizard did it" territory. but loans and banking are woefully mundane and can easily be analyzed. even if the soyboy banker was wearing a white plantation suit holding a whip and twirling his mustache. it doesnt make Sam any less eligible for that loan. dumbfuck should at least know that bank loans are expected to be paid back and he has no source of income and his shrimp boat business has no revenue to speak of. Sam is shit with money.
