In the same sentance Dr Strange is mentioned, a "high school student" is also mentioned.
he says a high school valedictorian in Long island City. Parker wasnt even in highschool in this timeline. he was only a sophmore during Homecoming. he was also living in Queens.

Its a gay discussion, but it shouldnt ever have been written in as a plot point to the story. I rather be talking about why Zemo is associated with building an army of super soldiers when he was trying to kill supers in Civil War?

Wait. Fuck. Did I not understand the plot of Civil War? Holy shit. Ok so Zemo bombed the building and posed as Winter Soldier to make Cap sympathetic. Avengers end up fighting each other. But why on earth did Zemo kill the other “winter soldiers”? He did kill them right, when they were frozen? And why did he kind of give up at the end whcih let him get captured???

He didn't give up, he tried to kill himself because he'd already won and had nothing left to live for.

He didnt bomb the building so cap would be sympathetic, he did it and pinned it on Bucky so that it would force him out of hiding and put the UN on him. They had shoot to kill orders if you remember. And he killed the other super soldiers cause he didnt want more of them running around, he could have had a change of heart since then but we dont know yet.

But why did he kill the other super soldiers?
He says a line in the movie near the end. Something like, "You think I want more superpowered freaks like you running around?" He used the winter soldiers as bait because he knew it was something Cap HAD to address taking care of.

The bank scene was just so unnecessary. You could literally keep all the dock/boat scenes the same and just have Sam say he doesn't want to cash in on his celebrity but he'll figure something out. Reinforces his reluctance to wear the Cap mantle, gives a glimpse to how the economy is kinda fucked after the snap, and saves them from backlash on both sides portraying blackie being held down by the man.

I enjoyed the first episode a lot.

The Falcon intro scene was awesome, I don't care if it's not "realistic", I can easily suspend disbelief for stuff that make heroes look cool in these movies, otherwise I wouldn't be able to enjoy them at all. :)

The story stuff for Falcon was generally pretty interesting. I like that he doesn't feel "worthy" of the Shield, and this will obviously be his arc...where over the course of the series he'll probably change his mind and see that Steve saw in him when he gave him the shield.

The entire plot about the boat and the bank I thought was fine to be honest. It shows the impact of people having disappeared for 5 years, from the perspective of the people that went missing(Falcon), and the people that remained(his sister). I thought the plot was fine because it delves into "How do heroes make a living?" aspect and it goes into what happens to your credit line if you've been gone for 5 years. It would have been better if the banker was black and they hadn't touched on the racial issue at all because it actually distracts from the main aspect which were the 2 points I mention about how heroes make a living and credit for people who disappeared for 5 years.

Bucky's arc was better because they have more to work with, I mean he's been a mind controlled assassin for 70 years that was kept frozen in between missions. I'm sure that would fuck up someone, and him being forced to see a shrink as part of his pardon makes sense. The idea that he's friend with the father of someone he killed years ago says a lot about his frame of mind, and I am curious to see where they will go with the story.

All in all, I think it was great...setup what should be interesting series. I can't wait for them to be together because they have great chemistry together as showed in Civil War and I love the buddy cop action/comedy thing.

Of course it will, they keep increasing their subscription count so each series will continue to beat the previous one until they stop growing at this rapid pace. :)

I'm confused here.... You are saying this like "portraying blacking being held down by the man." wasn't their primary and intended purpose of it.....

I'm sure it was their intention. But even my liberal, blm supporting coworkers were upset that it was the black guy that was having money troubles. Both sides thought the scene was dumb.
