I've seen them made on Food Network, I think it was Unwrapped that went into a Sabrett factory. They looked fine. The meat was surprisingly great looking. Of course, then they whip it up into a slurry and inject it into casings. That part is gross, but by definition a slurry of anything is gross.

Also since I've seen both terms, coney dogs and chili dogs are not the same.

the pic I posted are ones I made, Flint style coneys, I'll be snobby as fuck about them too i dont care....they are made with a hotdog you can only get back there too. Everything about them is fucking amazing.

I'm assuming you mean flint Michigan? If so that's just coney island hotdogs that they have all over MI.

Can't search for YouTube videos here at work, but Masterchef Australia had an episode with Maple Glazed Bacon Hotdogs. It was absolutely drool worthy.
