I don't think most things taste terrible like he seems to, and my tastebuds are much stronger than his. I just accept that things may be too intense for me and move on.
The only thing that really pisses me off that I don't like is Blue Cheese....because it's in so much phenomenal food and it overpowers everything it's in. I wish I could like/appreciate it.

I doubt super tasting has anything to do with you disliking blue cheese. I adore blue cheese. A while ago I bought a big block of it to use for cooking a fancy ass Italian dish, and while I had some other stuff cooking I sat down in front of the TV and started nibbling off the corners. Before I knew it, I had eaten the whole block and didn't even want to finish cooking. My friend says blue cheese smells like feet, but I can't get enough of it.

Bleu Cheese in a cream sauce over the right kind of pasta is bloody delicious.
Or replace Bleu Cheese with Gorgonzola. That shit's delicious. You just have to use the right amount so as to not over power the dish.

This is exactly the kind of dish I was trying to prepare. I was trying to recreate Olive Garden's Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo. Absolutely delicious. Without the cheese I basically just ended up with fettuccine alfredo with sauteed spinach.

Gorgonzola Alfredo is a snap to make if you go full on unhealthy and don't care. Reduce heavy whipping cream in a pan until it's the consistency you like, then add your cheese, some nutmeg, salt and pepper. Toss with your pasta and pour on your steak. Delicious. It's what places like Olive Garden do. It's easy to do to order, doesn't take long (with a gas stove), and is crazy delicious.

I definitely can't eat bleu cheese or any of the related cheeses. I've tried, it's just way to overpowering.
I actually had another Baja Blast last night with some Digiornio pizza and it wasn't too bad. Still Code Red is my favorite. I hate cherries and I love Code Red. I think me disliking Baja Blast is more a product of my intense love of that sweet red nectar.
Additionally anyone remember the gamer fuel a few years ago that was WoW themed? That blue Alliance Dew they had was my favorite of all time, but they don't make it anymore. That shit was good.
