Yeah I think the space Jimmy John's occupies is in the completely good to above average regular cold sandwiches that you can get delivered in like 10 minutes with no minimum order amount. And their customizations are good too. I usually get the Turkey Tom with double meet, oregano, brown mustard, onions, and a couple of other things.Jimmy Johns is just good cold sandwiches, but yeah it's nothing super spectacular. The Gargantuan is good, but I like their Italian sandwich with hot peppers.
#9 (Italian Night Club) with lite mayo, hot peppers, sprouts, no tomato, extra cheese. Deliciousness!Jimmy Johns is just good cold sandwiches, but yeah it's nothing super spectacular. The Gargantuan is good, but I like their Italian sandwich with hot peppers.
Finally something we can agree on. Firehouse is far better than any other chain sub shop. The smokehouse cheddar brisket is fucking $$$. Gotta add lettuce to it at least thoughI had the gargantuan today. It was good, but hardly lived up to its name in terms of size. I ended up stopping for a box of Runts to fill the hunger gap. I think these two Jimmy John's experiences are enough. It'll be Firehouse Subs all day errday for me.
I meant that as a complement. The Steamer, the only thing I ever get, is just a fucking mess to eat but it is delicious. I don't really think it is a fair comparison to Potbelly though, other than being sandwiches they don't have much in common.Your Firehouses must suck because while we only have like 4 in the Twin Cities Metro area here, all 4 are awesome as hell and I've had everything on their menus, none of which was greasy, not even the meatball sub. Shit is leaps and bounds better than Potbelly, Which Wich, JJ's and Jersey Mikes.
