dark chocolate is for women? so, men can't handle the bitterness of cocoa unless there's a bunch of milk and sugar added? i see.

i bet you don't drink your coffee black, either.

I don't disagree with anyone's candy bar lists but if Take 5 isn't listed it's most likely because you've never eaten a Take 5. And if you haven't you should go out tomorrow and buy one. I'm confident it will make everyone's top 5.
.
So I decided to try one of these on your recommendation. Kinda meh. The pretzel part really ruined imo(and I like pretzels by themselves just fine). It was like someone put a tiny bit of salt into the candy and ugh, salt + sugar do not mix imo. Nothing like having a salty aftertaste when eating a chocolate candy bar.

I think dried fruit could stand to be in more candy bars.

You don't like salted caramel?

Went to the store for a quick snack at halftime today. At the checkout they had pumkin reeces peanut butter cups. I had to do a double take and see it was only shaped like a pumpkin. The thought of pumpkin flavored chocolate didn't sound so great.

Those have existed for years and years - first time you've bumped into them after all these years? (Like seriously, I think 20 years - I seem to recall them being something my mom started handing out before I left home...)

Yeah I used to horde a small supply of the eggs away at Easter back when that was the only one of the seasonal shapes they made for that very reason. I'm glad they've expanded it to the point that they're around in some form for almost half the year. The Christmas trees aren't quite as good in that respect but they're better than the cups.

I don't normally shop for candy much being a diabetic. These were piled up at the check out while I stood in line is the only reason I noticed.

I don't think I have had a kid trick or treat at my house in the last 25 years. Lived behind a locked gate for a long time and 7 miles from the nearest neighbor. Not many kids came by lol.

I would get some this year but I'm not going to be there.
