Holy shit, how have I never heard of pepperoni dip before? I just did some googling and...ungh..You need to try pepperoni dip McCheese. It's gonna change your life.
This is a winning idea. Once I lose this last 10 lbs that might be my first victory meal.Pepperoni Dip with Pizza Rolls as the dipping implement. Khane, you've changed my life.
I went to Jersey once. It was terrible.Itlan must be in NJ, because nobody from NY would say NJ/NY pizza. It's NY pizza.
Head over to the cooking thread for the recipe of the version I've had. I can vouch for that one.Damn I looked that shit up and the ingredients sure sound off, but the comments say its a fricken winner. Go figure. I will have to try that one.
I don't even...That's not his offended face Gravy... it's an entirely different type of face...
It's the dead bodies in the Hudson that make it so good? No thanks! No, what makes NY/NJ pizza so great is the water, which affects/effects? I always get this confused... the taste of the dough.
I've had pizza in CT, NH, FL, CA, AZ, and a ton of other states, and it has nothing to do with personal bias - NY pizza wipes the ever living shit out of every single one of those places. I've never been to Chi-town, which I'd like to one day, but until then New York is the king. And Jersey pizza is made the exact same way, which is why I include it.
Now... best Mexican food? California, easily. Holy shit those SoCal stands are amazing. I'd never eat Chipotle again if I lived in Cali. I don't think I'd eat ANYTHING else, honestly.
I remember the clams and oysters being very good. And yes, the Cuban food in Miami is probably some of the best in the country, although I live in a Cuban area in Jersey so the food is delicious here as well.I'm in south Florida, so it's too far south for real southern food, oddly enough. We have good Cuban food, which is like second-rate Mexican, really. I'll always take good Mexican first. So ethnically, there really isn't a strong showing here. There are tons of awesome places to eat in Ft Laudy and Miami, but overall there isn't a like a "theme" so to speak.
