I remember when they changed the grilled stuft burrito from that awesome grilled concoction loaded with that baja sauce to that abomination it is now with that rancid guacamole. It was a sad day indeed.

See? Even McCheese is offended by this dip. It may be delicious, but it has some serious PR problems.

That's not his offended face Gravy... it's an entirely different type of face...

Itlan must be in NJ, because nobody from NY would say NJ/NY pizza. It's NY pizza.

This is a winning idea. Once I lose this last 10 lbs that might be my first victory meal.

And then I'm gonna need to lose that last 5lbs all over again.

lol at this pizza debate.

Went to Taco Bell for lunch today. Need to hit up an "authentic" Mexican place tomorrow to hit the trifecta.

Head over to the cooking thread for the recipe of the version I've had. I can vouch for that one.

No, what makes NY/NJ pizza so great is the water, which affects/effects? I always get this confused... the taste of the dough.

I've had pizza in CT, NH, FL, CA, AZ, and a ton of other states, and it has nothing to do with personal bias - NY pizza wipes the ever living shit out of every single one of those places. I've never been to Chi-town, which I'd like to one day, but until then New York is the king. And Jersey pizza is made the exact same way, which is why I include it.

Now... best Mexican food? California, easily. Holy shit those SoCal stands are amazing. I'd never eat Chipotle again if I lived in Cali. I don't think I'd eat ANYTHING else, honestly.

It's the dead bodies in the Hudson that make it so good? No thanks!

Texas and AZ have some badass Mexican food, as well. I have not yet had decent Mexican food in Virginia and I doubt I ever will.

I'm in south Florida, so it's too far south for real southern food, oddly enough. We have good Cuban food, which is like second-rate Mexican, really. I'll always take good Mexican first. So ethnically, there really isn't a strong showing here. There are tons of awesome places to eat in Ft Laudy and Miami, but overall there isn't a like a "theme" so to speak.

I remember the clams and oysters being very good. And yes, the Cuban food in Miami is probably some of the best in the country, although I live in a Cuban area in Jersey so the food is delicious here as well.

Xevy, a little blood never hurt a pizza.
