Maybe im out of touch but remoulade used to be a side with anything you got down at the 5 and dime. Then A&P and Mcdonalds came in on the scene and started pushing ketchup. I used to grow pickles as far as the eye could see on the land i got in a 3 way swap but when the ketchup folks came to town that all went to shit. Now there's not much good remoulade around, last time i had it was at the shrimp shack with Craig biggio in aught five but the owner mammy burns past away last year

So Picasso was in on the three way pickle swap with Soy and chaos? Everything is falling into place.

(Well done, sir.)

You need to document this thoroughly. We all want to believe, but you've never offered any evidence(that I can remember). You could be some tiny twink of a man and not the human skyscraper we all want you to be. You finish that tapering and then you cultivate the fuck out of that mass on Sunday. With pictures.

I don't want this to get overlooked. My life would be pretty damn near complete if I got a fully documented McCheese epic eating story.

The fast-food chain is testing sweet potato fries in select restaurants in Amarillo, Texas.

A spokesperson for McDonald's said the fries will be available at 18 "Create Your Taste" test restaurants.

The "Create Your Taste" restaurants are found in select cities across the U.S. and let customers to build their own McDonald's specialty burgers with various toppings and buns.

The limited-time fries will be available in a 16 ounce size and will sell for an average of $2.49.

"We're gathering valuable customer feedback on them," the spokesperson said.

A spokesperson for the company said McDonald's wasn't currently planning to bring the fries to other regions or restaurants.

I love me some sweet potatoes but I haven't found a restaurant that has good sweet potato fries. Anyone know of any?

Sweet potatoes are only in good in pie form or highly seasoned with some sort of dipping sauce. Otherwise they're very bland and starchy and the sweetness lessens its value compared to a regular potato. I recognize I might be bias because one time I had strep and had a liquid diet for like 5 days and the first solid food I ate was just a plain sweet potato and as hungry as I was it just fucking sucked.

But like I said, it's more about the condiments than the sweet tato product itself.

There was a mom and pop shop here that is closed now, but they served nice, crispy sweet potato fries with honey on them. Delicious.

If there's one way to ruin fries it's to make them out of shitlord sweet potatoes. Literally the worst fast food item I've ever heard of.

Isn't that just french fries in general? Only reason they taste good is the salt and dipping sauce of your choosing.

Yes and no. I can eat non-salted or lightly salted (not sure if we're counted this as seasoning) fries if they're cooked in a good oil like a lot of fast food fries. I have never met a salt-only sweet potato fry I ate and went "mmm, that's good!"

Sweet potato fries are strictly inferior to regular.

Curly > waffle > steak > shoe string > sweet potato >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> crinkle cut
