When the hell did they start calling quesadilla mexican pizza? Whatever the hell that is it was created by white people in up state new york, not mexicans.
quasadilla is a single tortilla stuffed with whatever, and folded over in half. When the hell did they start calling quesadilla mexican pizza? Whatever the hell that is it was created by white people in up state new york, not mexicans.
oh ya, it's for sure not something that I think is really authentic. I'm just saying that's the differences in how it's served here in Phoenix. You can't say quasadilla and expect a mexican pizza and vice versa.I dunno about that. I grew up going to schools that served menudo and had plenty of hispanic friends, they never talked about mexican pizza and i never saw it at their houses. Pretty sure thats a quesadilla someone decided needed more cheese.
Just google "mexican pizza", most of the first page results are tacobell related and the related search terms are all taco bell....
So a mexican pizza is two quesadillas.quasadilla is a single tortilla stuffed with whatever, and folded over in half.
Mexican pizza is 2 tortillas stacked on top of each other, not folded, and layered with toppings, sauce, etc.
There is a difference.
Oh you guys just trolling me now!! LolSo a mexican pizza is two quesadillas.
Huh? I've always had quesadillas that were made with cheese between two tortillas. In fact, the only place I've ever seen a "folded" quesadilla is Taco Bell.quasadilla is a single tortilla stuffed with whatever, and folded over in half.

Every high school in America should probably add"Regional food oddities and customs of Arizona"to their curriculum so that no one else will ever have to bear the shame of not knowing how people in Arizona make a tostada. How in the hell does Arizona have this shit, and the rest of the world is clueless? Used to make them all the time at home! Getting them in a restaurant provides a much larger tortilla, which I prefer.
I mean, someone has a daughter. Then it's a big minus. That's pretty accurate. It also has me. So another big plus.
Whoa now. Careful. The Fast Food thread just turned serious business. I was having a great time seeing what everyone calls different Mexican food, and was surprised that everyone had a different idea of what it was.Every high school in America should probably add"Regional food oddities and customs of Arizona"to their curriculum so that no one else will ever have to bear the shame of not knowing how people in Arizona make a tostada.
When you keep repeating the"I don't know how people outside of Arizona are ignorant of our culinary habits here", I have to wonder if you've ever been out of Arizona.
