All this talk of regional seafood has me in the mood for alligator. I haven't had alligator in years. I wonder if any of the cajun spots around here serve it.

Alex...I can't remember where you are in California , but a weird place that may have alligator is whatever seafood restaurant is in the Bass Pro Shop...

People always say shit like this. Every year or two I break down and let friends push me into eating sushi again. This always ends with me gagging and spitting out some nasty, foul piece of raw fish into a napkin. The argument I get a lot is"Well, you've just never had good sushi then!". I've now had sushi on 3 continents and in some pretty decent sushi areas, so I don't think it's the quality of the sushi. Or when people are like"Try this, it's pretty mild"I try whatever the fuck they're pushing on me, followed by me gagging again and thinking"Why, God, why?"

Eel isn't bad, but I didn't expect it to be. Tuna and Mackerel can die in a fire though.
For tuna try tempura roll. The entire roll is dipped in tempura batter and deep fried, lightly cooking the tuna.

I'm pretty sure Bass Pro Shop is outlawed in San Francisco
Yeah, haha. The closest one is in San Jose.

I found some places but only one of them serves gator tail. The rest are burgers or tacos. Gator tacos might be aight.

Deanie's is a popular seafood restaurant in New Orleans and they ship boiled seafood if you really wanted to try boiled crawfish.
Shop Deanies

At the restaurant they have a menu item they nicknamed the barge and its a bunch of fried seafood - shrimp, fish, oysters, softshell crab, and fries piled on a loaf of bread. Its a menu item fitting for this thread.

Anyone on the east coast eat the McHomard? Fast food AND seafood as one.

Leave it to McDonald's to create a lobster price spike all so they could crank out what amounts to seafood salad.

I'm not even sure who you're responding to.
I was heavily medicated last night and was having some pretty adverse effects due to them....but I coulda swore I was responding to Noodle who was begging for someone to save the derail. Don't mind me, I'm pretty out of it.

carry on.

Eating lobster at McDonald's sounds like the worst idea ever.

Technically speaking, eating at McDonald's period is pretty much the worst idea ever in terms of health - doesn't take away from the happiness and the mcshits.
