Pork sandwich truck at work today. Great sandwich. The meat was two fat ass strips of pork belly, arugula and lemon aioli. 9/10. The side was only ok. It was pork, peppers, lima beans and some other greens. It was just alright. 6/10.

I had me a NY Steamer from Firehouse today. It's good..not 12 dollars good.

They didn't have any hot sauce with a garlic base. So it was meh. I would have rather had my slow cooked Boston Butt I made over the weekend..but i forgot it in the fridge.

Don't like orange chicken (much prefer General Tso's). HATE lemon ANYTHING to do with meat. Mango isn't a citrus fruit.

I don't understand why you'd go savory with sour. That's not how it's supposed to work.

Again, that's SWEET and SOUR. They add sweetness in to work with the sour. I'm talking motherfuckers putting lemon juice on grilled chicken and baked fish and shit. There's no counter. It's just ruined.

Many Asian cuisines use some form of citrus as a seasoning in their meat. Ever had Thai or Vietnamese? Mad lemongrass dishes. And they're bomb.
