For me when I was a drunk college student in Houston, Taco Cabana was delicious. Also after the bars closed they still had margaritas so you could keep going.

A Freedbirds opened here about 2-3 years ago, and it already closed down. The Chipotle entrenchment is signifiant. We don't even have any Qdoba or any other burrito places, just Chipotle alone ran Freebirds out in a hurry.

I ate there a couple times, it's basically the same as Qdoba. More choices the Chipotle, but the quality isn't as good as Chipotle. No burrito place has better steak than Chipotle.

Yeah I know and Herrs is still much better but the kettle classics version is pretty damn good.


Also heko I found a place that uses Pancho villa paste which is awesome but no packets.

They opened one up in Mission a while back. AFAIK it's still there.

They also opened up a Pie 5 near there too. I was not impressed.

That sounds like one of the worst possible experiences. I'd think #3 behind catheterization and bowel obstruction.

Sharp edges and a bit of hot spice near sensitive areas - no thanks. And that's not even going near the gay sex implications...
