This is probably a Bay Area thing, but some of the McD's around have started offering Gilroy Garlic Fries. Which are some of the most amazing garlic fries in the world. This is false advertisement. They are nothing like Gilroy Garlic Fries. Soggy mess.

Dorito "Ranch Dipped Hot Wings" are fucking awful. They are spicy, but they taste like hot, post-triathlon butthole. I wanted the purple bag and Target didn't have them and it made me sad in pants I had to sub for these monstrosities.

The vast majority of Doritos flavors suck ass. It's like they set the bar so high with the original nacho cheese flavor that they can only go downhill from there.

So a Sonic opened up across the way and everyone lost their fucking minds, a la Krispy Kreme circa 2001. For about a month the line for the drive through was so bad they were sending a cop down to direct traffic. How's their burger compared to 5 Guys? S/O and I go for awful terrible fast food extravaganza once a month but don't want to waste it on a 'meh' burger.

Hadn't been in a while but got their double cheeseburger just the other day. Was pretty impressed by it's size, and was pretty tasty. Do recommend. Their boneless wings are pretty balla too!

Their burgers are actually very decent, especially on days where they are half off, etc. Would eat Sonics over 5 guys any day unless you want a bunch of random crap on it.

We experienced something similar in Maryland. For years we would see Sonic commercials on TV, yet the closest one was a 2+ hour drive down into Virginia or the Carolinas. When they finally started opening locations in MD, people went insane at first to finally try what had been tempting us for so long on TV.

Then the disappointment set in.

It's been like that in CT as they slowly roll them out. They are okay, but I'm left underwhelmed by their food most times.

DQ Flamethrower burger trumps most fast food any day of the week.

I remember doing a WoW dungeon with you bro and you said I'm having some apple pie, I said damn don't eat more than a slice or two. You lol'd at me that you had just eaten the entire pie and were still very hungry.
