I order from a normal mom and pops place but I ate in that pizza place Obama went to in Cambridge MA. Absolutely disgusting and burnt pizza and the bill was insane. You could tell it was a hipster place based on the interior looking like a top chef kitchen

I know, right. It was a shit storm at work yesterday. I got home around 9 and had some leftover jambalaya and a grapefruit and felt stuffed. Crazy.
I am about to make up for that right now...at the Sugarfire Smoke House in Valley Park Mo. Gonna get me some damn fine bbq.

At the Sugar Fire - the pulled pork was good; but I have to say I was impressed with the sauce options - favorite was the Texas hot. I am a picky bitch about sauce. I may actually want to drink that. Will go back to try remaining meats.

Or they end up that way. Found a sandwich/wing place that delivered a while back and was bomb. Their boneless and bone-in wings were huge! Was really good stuff. Then one day we order and it all went to shit and was tiny and nasty. Obviously changed distribs to go cheap. Never ordered from them again and soon saw they were no longer there. Serves them right.

Pizza discussion with McCheese. History is always doomed to repeat itself. You can't win against him.
PS: Your local Pizza place should have miles better Pizza than the chain stores(Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc..) if you don't you really should consider moving because you are missing out. I'm lucky to have at least 4 great local places and I live in farm country Illinois.

Hey now, I didn't start the discussion about pizza. If you go back for the last couple years in this thread, you'll see that I very rarely join in pizza discussions. After that first debacle when I realized you all have blinders on when it comes to mom and pop pizza places, I gave up and decided to let you believe they all taste differently.

Lol you still are? I think if I were a super taster I'd be hyper-sensitive to the taste of different pizzas, so I'd think all mom and pop pizzas tasted differently. If anything, I'm the opposite of a super taster. Whatever that is. An under-taster?

I just can't fathom putting a cardboard domino's ketchup pizza next to a local chains pizza and saying they're the same. One places uses mostly fresh ingredients and the other probably freezes everything a month in advance.

Read my post again. I never said Domino's tastes like mom and pop pizza. I said that mom and pop places taste the same. There's a big difference between Pizza Hut and Dominos, and there is a big difference between those and mom and pop places. However, if you get three pizzas from three random mom and pop places, they'll taste pretty much identical (assuming same style, as obviously a deep dish is going to be different from a New York style).
