Makers of the show seem to love deaths.

I mean, like I mentioned how The Rogues, expressly do not kill in the comics. They are professional criminals. Killing, results in getting killed, illicit manhunts, etc. Cold especially. And those that do kill, they hate, like Captain Boomarang.
Cold HERE has killed repeatedly, and talks about killing nonstop. It makes the rapport with the Flash kindof bizarre.

Dust devil here, gets brought to Earth 1 by Zoom, and told to kill Flash, and I'll bring you back home. He meets Earth2 Flash and instead of saying, "hey, YOU are here too, do you have a way back home?", his only though is, "I get to kill two Flashes!"

I mean...he's a villain and Flash is the bane of his existence...that's some serious nitpicking right there.


Cold is getting turned in to the comic version with the new rules Flash gave him at least. Plus to set him up for Legends of Tomorrow obviously.

her character is one of Barry's love interests.

Patty Spivot.
Created in 1977. Lab Assistant to Barry. Has a crush on him. often "damsel"ed.
"Flashpoint" she steals "Hot Pursuit" armor and cosmic motorcyle from evidence locker and becomes the new Hot Pursuit. (hot pursuit being a tech based Flash from an alternate Earth). she ends up time traveling to 3011. Captured by Brainaic, working with Kid Flash. Kid Flash uses her tech to see the timeline is messed up(Flashpoint), she ends up dieing.
New 52. She alive again, and dating Barry since Barry never married Iris in this timeline.

Jay said he defeated sand demon with lightning already on his world. Soooooo since sand demon clearly wasn't dead from jay's lightning, I guess he can come back from being glassed.

which makes me wonder how he was so knowledgeable on how to throw lightening if he seemingly was never able to do it...unless Sand Demon somehow just avoided the lightening each time.

Is "war of the americas" a historical reference that I'm a dumbass for not understanding? The helmet looks like it was based on a WW1 helmet. Maybe the spanish american war could be called war of the americas since it was fought in this hemispehere, but they didn't develop those helmets until the trench warfare of WW1

It is an alternate history reference, so yeah, you wouldn't know exactly what they are talking about because it didn't happen here. It is just a cool-sounding name for a war that makes you go hmmm.

captain cold is very good. cisco needs to grab that chick around the waist and plant one on her like a man. anyway, good episode, love michael ironsides. two things i noticed from last week's trailer which i either missed or wasnt included in the show, cisco naming snart's dad "colonel cold" and snart saying something like "dont touch dad" to barry.

Really good episode. Even though it didn't introduce a new meta human for the Flash to battle I really enjoyed it. Definitely can see Snart as a hero but yet he still kills people. Really like how they have his character live by a code. I always like that.
Also yes WELLS is back!!
