I just realized that I may or may not be an idiot and forgot that I used the big AC shield on the first kill, and was duel wielding the last two times... I wouldn't think a shield would cut his DPS in half, but I will see tomorrow.

Killed Quarm this morning. Pretty easy kill, so I figured I must've just been unlucky with RNG. And then I looted him..

Still mostly in Luclin gear with 3 PoP BiS. Augs still need work.

Speaks volumes of the SK, Rog, Shm build though, as I am pretty much doing this in Luclin gear.

After Quarm is a custom encounter using Zeb. He is the Sleeper/Super Seru of Planes of Power. Zeb’s custom loot is another set of weapon augs, except this time there is also a custom combine container to make a Super Aug.

Can anyone pop in to help me kill Emmerick please? I'm trying to do it on my SK/RNG/ROG and I'm just immediately getting crushed, it's absurd. I could probably kill it easily on my CLR/BRD/ENC but I ended up doing the key on this guy.

Meh, ran my CLR/BRD/ENC to get the tower key (was easy and quick) and just killed him without even a second of issue. Man, he was destroying the SK so fast.

And now Agnarr is bugged and has like 20 mobs in there...nice...fuck this.

edit again:

I figured out you can bring him solo into the room with the little lake with fading memories, makes it trivial.

Its not bugged, they come out of the portals. So you can either deal with the adds or kill the portals. Agnarr was the first "Oh shit, no joke" fight in POP, at least for me. If you died with all the mobs there you can either wait like 20 min or deal with them. Not sure if they despawn because of the new persistent zone BS they had to implement for no reason. Shit causes more issues than anything.

What made it even worse for me was that I killed the fucker but then died to the adds, so I could not do the next part of the progression, hail some bitch? Anyway, yeah the dude you talk to would not port me up anymore. So I had to redo the whole damn encounter again the next day.

I finally got the sack of shit. It just involved a lot of fuckery with fading memories. I found the easiest way to do it was you could lure him away, then go kill portals, then get back to him. If you fight him up the stairs there was a chance the adds never came.

As mkope said, Agnarr was the first oh shit fight when you see some challenge in PoP. My SK, Rog, Shm did it on second attempt, but I absolutely had to rely on Shm healing, slows, and going straight to the portals and destroying those first. Otherwise, you just get overwhelmed with adds.

Consider it a lighter preview encounter for RZ in PoTime. They all truck the shit out of you.
