I only ever see them on new characters. My main hasn't seen one in tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of kills, but that rog/sk/shm i made a few weeks ago got like 5.
PSA: the best 5 EoM (~6k) you can spend is giving it to the teleport guy in the baz, it'll permanently unlock the ability to teleport directly to your dz.
Yes the 5 EoM for DZ portal ability (it unlocks it on every character for your entire account) is so worth it and easy to miss. I didn’t realize what it was or that I needed it until Velious went live and someone mentioned it to me in game.

Just buy EoM on the Bazaar, people on this server don't understand the concept of economics so despite the fact that platinum is an ever increasing resource and there is more and more coin in game every day, while EoM are pegged directly to USD and has a flat in game conversion rate of 2.5k plat per EoM, somehow the price of EoM continually drops, and you can reliably pick them up for 1-1.2k each when they used to go for 1.5-1.7k not even a month ago.
pretty sure all the EoM supply is from a few desperate whales.
And I also have never gotten an EoM to drop at max level, but every character i've leveled has gotten between 3-7 on the journey to 60.

Where does one sell an EoM for 2.5k each? First I've ever heard that there's some kind of flat conversion rate.
Shm/sk/rog has 2k aa; just tried sleeper earlier today for the first time on the char and it was pure butter, even had a pizza delivery guy interrupt the fight and was still alive a few mins later when i got back. Don't even have all my skills and buffs sorted out yet. It's a good class combo.

The flat conversion comes from the gambling halfling in the bazaar, you can either give him 5k plat or 2 EoM to gamble with him. There is no one or no thing that buys EoM for that price.

all in game EoM interactions are at 2.5k to 1 for EoM. The halfling gambler mentioned above costs 5k pp or 2 EoM for example, but all services/items/NPCs that charge either EoM or pp do so at the same 2.5k pp to 1 EoM rate, such as race/class/religion/sex changes, etc, ie 10 EoM or 25k plat
2.5kpp was the initial rate players were selling EoM for back at launch when 20k plat was your life savings and 50k pp was the most expensive thing you could buy, but for some reason a bunch of retarded whales are RMTing away their paychecks donating for EoM and selling them for 1k now, despite the fact that plat is 20x easier to come by now and single augs are selling for 250k

I won't complain about whales buying eom from the server, they're putting that cash to good use; I heard that they're currently installing a 4th server

I'm loving my SK/BRD/WIZ but I really like the idea of the ROG but the Bard / Wiz just absolutely destroys in most occasions. I had originally thought about a Shaman as well but was worried has most of the endgame would be immune to slow their value would drop. Is there something else about shamans that is beneficial outside of their slows?
Anyone using Paladins? SK's just always seem to be a better selection in all categories.

paladins are nice, but generally behind SK. The slay undead is godly in the right zones at the right levels. When I moved to normal zones with the PAL I felt like someone just gimped me beyond imagination because in undead zones I was killing in 1-2 ‘hits’, literally.
but they do bring a great deal of neat AA and utility. however most of it aside from a few special aa’s is also covered by cleric, which obviously bring way more healing power. So the general consensus is clr Just wins.
I am not sure how far this server will go, but I know pal did come into its own over time, so possible it gets another bump at some point.
as others have said though, almost any combo is decent and fun, assuming you are doing the min/max patch meta. All combos can do progression mobs. I have 5 char now and all has zero problem doing the stuff to get flags. Some easier than others to start, some more survivable, some burn but glass canons, some ramp up real fast as you get AA etc.
the server(Maybe live too, have not played live in 10 years) has a few gimmicks like spell power and heal power that just favor certain playstyles and skills over others. I think they will find it hard to balance. It’s part of why a level 1 nuke is better than a level 60 nuke In most cases.

I read there is a planned nerf to divine avatar and battle frenzy for clerics, they haven't decided in what way but it makes very little sense to nerf imo. Cleric builds are strong but not the strongest, that is still petcucks. They like to take the easy appoach, nerf what's fun instead of bringing up the less used classes.
