So went to TOV and downed all the dragons except Lord Vyemm, and of course vulak wont spawn so didnt beat him either. For some reason Vyemm wont let me land anything on him. Most of my shit is being resisted. Is there a trick with this fucker? Malosine lands, but nothing else. All the rest of them were cake, really. sustain was great and it just as matter of DPS down.
Rofl his magic resist is insane. What you can do though is stand JUST inside your melee range to hit him. His melee range is smaller so he wont be able to hit you back.

me neither. i watched that exact video weeks ago on our first BB kill. and then i was watching a streamer do BB and saw him click that picture instead lol. now my berserker/clr/monk zones in, runs up and kills jester/BB in 5 minutes.

Anyway, cleared the whole damn place and got one upgrade, the swift bracer or whatever. Not BIS but close and way better than what I had. I also got a lot of pally shit....Hmmm, maybe its time to roll some sort of pally? Whats the best combo with pally these days? I hear they are way weaker than SK for the heals and shit and only good against dead, which is not end game, lol.

Use the fire poison on him.

Pal is almost always better to be anything else. If I HAD to roll a Paladin, it'd probably be in a PAL/BRD/RNG build so I could just afk on most bosses. The Paladin rune procs with the way archery procs work + Bard rune songs make that build insanely tanky. It's just not going to smash any DPS records.

Yes. Normally when you swing, you roll a chance to attack, double attack, triple attack, flurry, etc. That's considered a "round" and you have ONE chance to proc that entire round.

Archery, however, has a chance to proc on EVERY shot. So, if you double attack, triple, etc. a "proc" effect can go off on every single arrow.

Paladin's rune effect is a proc effect. So, it's obviously vastly more powerful with archery vs. melee.

Tomorrow at 6PM CST, the server will be coming down for an update (approximately 1 hour) to bring live Luclin for those Heroes strong enough to have conquered the frozen reaches of Velious! New or old, prepared or not, we invite you to please join us for a memorable night of fun and adventure! ----- Balance Changes: With Luclin, comes our next round of balance changes. It is important to remember that The Heroes' Journey is a living, breathing experience. Not only do we work daily to fix bugs and add QoL features, but we work hand in hand with players at the top of many class combos to look into potential balance change needs. While some of you are fearful of nerfs to your prized class combinations, I promise that we will never make changes that eliminate the fun or viability of those combos. With that in mind: We identified Cleric's Divine Avatar, Pet Class's over stacking pet passives, and Wizard's passive critical damage as being areas that needed to be toned down. In testing these changes, we realized that no amount of tuning would solve the drought of what some of these areas bring. So while we tuned these down, we allowed other classes to access buffs with somewhat similar, sought after effects and increased existing buffs to feel more impactful. Additionally, we identified Rogues, Warriors, and Druids needing some additional TLC in certain scenarios. To that end, we tuned down:
  • Cleric's Divine Avatar has been scaled down, but remains one of the most powerful AA's in the game. Duration reduced to 2 minutes. Melee damage bonus and proc chance reduced to 100.
  • Pet's now have a hard cap on how much Flurry, Crit, Crit Damage, and Proc rate they can access (75%/75%/75%/100)
  • Wizard AA Improved Familiar no longer gives stacking critical spell damage (Net -40%)
And tuned up:
  • Warrior's Battle Leap AA duration to 12 seconds and increase damage modifier SPA 185 to 25% at RkI. RkII has been added for purchase for a 50% increase.
  • Warrior's Fellstrike Discipline duration increased to 1.5 min
  • Paladin's Holyforge Discipline now does crit and 50% SPA 185 instead of crit and crippling blow but had it's duration reduced to 2 minutes
  • Rogue's Lethality increased to 40% SPA 185
  • Rogue's Thief's Vengeance Discipline was increased to a 12 second duration
  • Rogue only piercers now give additional backstab damage (x3)
  • Berzerker's Burning Rage increased to 30% SPA 185 (Slot 1)
  • Druid's Spirit of the Bear now adds 75% SPA 185
  • Druid's Spirit of the White Wolf now reduces spell cost by 20-25%, increases chance to critical heal by 15% and increases the chance to critical heal on a heal over time by 20%.
  • Druid's Spirit of the Black Wolf now reduces spell cost by 20-25%, increases chance to land a critical hit with detrimental spells by 10%, increases critical spell damage by 50%, increases critical DoT chance by 10% and critical DoT damage by 50%
  • Shaman's Rabid Bear proc now has a -50 disease resist modifier and a -50 disease resist check on the proc
  • Shaman's Rabid Bear can now increase the stat cap of Str and Dex by 25/50/75

Hot damn, that's going to make some of my builds much nicer. I think I will switch off from Cleric now on one of my combos, Divine Avatar is amazing, but Cleric just isn't really my schtick.

Anatomy (assasinate humanoids)

There are others but those come to mind... There is also some utility ones like a snare and shit too.
remeber to always have a poison running, the best you can use for your level.

Thank you for the info. As far as poisons go, do I just use the bite of the shissar ones off the poison vendor?

SPA is basically skill damage.

Cutting DA in half fucking wrecks Cleric pretty hard. It doesn't completely kill it or anything, but they went the route of expected when it came to "buffing" Paladin - just nerf Cleric! The lazy route, basically.

So I got all my Luclin flags done except for Cobalt Scar faggot. I fought him under water, killed him but the Echo never showed up. It showed him on the map, but I could not find him. IDK if its a Z axis thing or what? Even tried /target and no dice, told me no such NPC there. Oh well I guess I have to wait 14 hrs now and then pull his ass to shore if possible.

same thing happened to me, so the 2nd time i fought him, i dragged his ass to the nearest beach and fought him there. Ghost showed up then.
