ill watch the video I guess after i get back from the grocery store. I know about the NPC but that doesn't tell me shit. I have no idea what any of those things even are or what zone they are in, what i need to do to go to those zones/keys needed to enter, what is needed to spawn them, etc. That screenshot might as well be from Malibu barbie island adventures it doesn't answer any question for anyone who never did luclin

IMO what they need to do with Luclin is an across the board 30%-50% decrease in HP for EVERYTHING. Because that expansion sucks because of that. I took my lv45 noob out and about and shit is jsut not worth EXPing in. Bring back Velious ZEMS, fuck Luclin or fix it right.

Was wondering too, did they make crafting on this server easier, meaning the fail rates and skillups, or is it same as classic type?

Classic crafting but some stuff drops from future xpacs that allowed you to skill up slightly easier. Like tailoring could use the ribbon recipes from Yak.

I got my main and all my alts the Aten neck. Pretty sure those are the only clears I'll do. Having to kill 10 bosses to spawn Aten is wild when the zone is as huge as it is and shit like blobs have almost 2mil HP. Even with skips it takes at least an hour. The silences just add to the length of time it takes.

I'll probably shelve this for a few weeks now, outside of doing daily Keras for AUGs. Seru AUGs are really good too, but having to jump through bane hoops for him is just shit I'm not willing to do.

I'll just grab BIS in a few weeks for super cheap as we go into PoP. VT loot is mostly side grades to Vulak loot anyhow.

You can do talisman and cold sun prayer shawl quests. I remember doing those….what? 20 years ago now? Still good items if I recall.

edit: also didn’t they say all along the idea was all progression content was solo but things like VT were designed for 2-3 people? So being able to solo at all in an hour is pretty good. If you brought a group of 3 you could clear it in way less and do that once a day. Still plenty of loot.

ok i putz around like a blind baby deer but I managed to clear all the progression mobs so unlocked VT, also unlocked most of the tp stones as well

So whats the use of a cure for the curses when the bosses just spam them right after you remove them, lol. How stupid. Im gonna sit there and spam my cure spell or AA all fight long, in a 10 min boss fight? Is this what they want me to do?

Emp was the only one I found with a curse I had to get rid of due to the slow. Greater curse removal spell is nice since its just one cast.

So i killed arch lich in temple cus someone in guild said he is where you get the greater remove curse spell?

I got 2x drops from the first Rhag in the sequence to spawn arch lich but got nothing from Arch Lich, is that what you guys mean by greater remove curse or was I supposed to do something with arch lich as well?

Also btw emp's adds don't respawn, watched the video & read the strat on eqprogression both said they respawned so I left all 8 of those fucks up hitting me the whole time until they started to slowly die from soul well and noticed they didn't respawn....So that made the emp fight harder for no reason

If youre a shaman you get an AA called Radiant Cure. I think it removes everything. But Like I said, they are useless because the fuckers just keep spamming them, not sure about Emp, but the ones Ive fought all just perma spam them, so whats the use? I just power through them.

I'm just gonna kill seru to get the quested earrings for my characters and then be done till PoP. Just as slow as all the other VT bosses but it's guaranteed loot and a large upgrade.

Yea I am not super interested in this expansion, now I remember why i skipped this expansion on live lol. I'm flagged for pop, but doubt ill do much more.

Wow, thats gonna suck for peeps that havent done this shit yet. Basically the whole room aggroes your ass in both instances. While they were rooted you could slay out all the adds and then kill boss. Now you gotta do it all at once.
