I’d definitely group if someone wanted to, can’t seem to ever find anyone online for a guild invite. And nobody wants to group in /ooc for anything other than XP grinds.
Nothing in Luclin was difficult or challenging. It is just pure tedium, just like in Live and TLPs. Fucking terrible expansion.

I tried the dagger thing and it just didnt feel as good as the epic in MH when I tried it in NTOV. The backstabs were not that much bigger (def not 3x lol more like +20%) and I lost a ton of comfy sustain. My HP was all over the place. Im at like 450 ish spell power so not that much yet.
Seems like others agree.

i already gave you the quick napkin math i have no idea why you are expecting to do 3x the dmg???
rogue daggers now do 3x the damage to bring them to be a fair bit higher than using non-daggers. You will not do 300% more dmg now with a rogue dagger vs some rediculous high dmg 1h like the Pal/SK epics. Those are extreme edge cases and only a thing because this is a multiclass server. Think about how many 1 handers are in game and how many of them have 80/42 ratios in Kunark era?

I would recommend a pet cuck build to start with. They are the least gear and AA dependent to get going and then only get stronger as they get the gear and AA. But you would proly clear Classic and Kunark with him being nekkid. Just give your pets a 100/40 velious 2hder and watch them mow shit down, even better if its got a proc on it. Plus the devs seem to love the pet cuck build, lol. I mean its up to you, play what you want. Velious stuff is getting cheaper now but most of the good BIS shit is still expensive as fuck.
I started with SK/SHM/ROG and it took a while to farm up the AA and level up all the gear that I had to buy cheap.
But now is the perfect time to start because this weekend is EXP bonus.

They are starting to add mechanics to reign in petcuck. One of the praesertums in Seru has a permanent damage shield that deleted the dual wielding necro and BL pets. Another has a permanent magic shield that reflected a bunch of proc damage.

lol bad timing for me, i have pure melee dps, pure tank, and now trying pet cuck.
I dont think they should go out of their way to nerf it. Especially with everything instanced just let people have fun. Plus in later expansions shit hits way harder and pets weaken, so it should naturally fall into line

Currently in VT and the rogue seems to really be paying off here. Warders dont see me, so I can skip a bunch of shit, including a bunch of early bosses (if I wanted). I killed 2 of the floor 2 bosses cause they had a 28% fire damage buff ring and a weapon proc orb (neither dropped). Otherwise rogue can skip, at minimum the whole first floor. Alternatively, you may be able to skip various level 2 bosses, if you kill the last boss on level 1 too.
On the second boss on floor two and fights are taking approximately twice as long of Vulak. Only trash killed so far is 2 mobs next to 1 of the bosses.

I agree, let people have fun. They sink so many hours into a toon, with all the AA and gearing and other shit, like why nerf anything? Isnt this server supposed to be mostly solo anyway? What they should do is buff the other classes that are not doing so hot like chanters and pallys.

There is an NPC that you can hail in the upstairs area of the Vendor building in Baz that will tell you what bosses to kill.

If you are any kind of proc build or caster built around SP, you dont really need a bane wep for emp. Proc build would need cure curse though, probably. Caster based (WiZ/petcuck/DOT) can just power through that too.
The key to emp is pretty fast if you just focus on getting it done.
