EZ PZ... Just cast the songs (buffs) and they stay on until you zone or die. Discord has some stickie posts about what stacks and all that...Then you can either cast on their own or melody the DD/wipe/mezz/slow whatever the fuck....

Bards take up a lot of spell gems so if combining with other casters I would recommend the aa to increase spells you can mem, the one where you start with the first 4 ranks.
Beneficial songs have to be cast once everytime you zone but offensive ones are normal and have to be cast on your target, you can hotkey them with /melody or whatever it's called, but that only works on the first 8 gem slots so reserve those for offensive bard songs for that reason

Yeah it’s ridiculous easy. Bard beneficial spells lasting permanently in zone or otherwise dispelled is so brain dead.
I killed everything up to and including Seru and Bristlebane with hardly any effort with around 1200 AA and zero augs.

Zero augs on ANYTHING but weapons.
I followed the BIS list on discord in the minion master thread or the brd/bst:mag thread, they’re virtually the same.
It’s just all spell power gear. A lot of it sells for 100-1000 plat base, then I got them up to legendary
I don’t even have probably 5 of the bis pieces. And pets are using sword of ssra because it was cheap
mag pet is just decked out with the cheapest yet highest AC legendaries I could find
I spent no great amount of money nor time putting it together

I literally never had AA points in that, ha. I used servant of Ro, the mage swarm AA thing, and uhhh…something else.

The guy that runs it has been dedicated to showing everyone how you can do 4/4 Seru with increasingly worse gear and not even using epic pet

Last night I tried Seru +2 on Zrk/MNK/CLR (Matpa/Vantorius) a couple times but found the damage shield from Matpa to be too much damage to heal through; so killed him off after two attempts. Seru +1 (Vantorius) wasn't much different than Seru +0 after that. Think I'll try Seru +2 with Vantorius and Rhugol tonight, as the mana drain from Bikum would hurt the CLR heals too much.
I also tried Seru +2 (with Matpa/Bikum) on petcuck and failed pretty hard. Discord was saying Bikum was the easiest, but I would always get healing agro then he would proc the mana drain and it would be over. Seru summoning almost any time I got in LoS also fucked me up a couple times. I had to just spam heals to keep pets up regardless, making it so every attempt was pillar humping him. Got to sub 50% a couple times (or whenever he summons the second add) when the pets were not switching targets, but couldn't stay up after that. On three attempts I even cheated a little and ported my vendor account in to afk with full bard songs active, but still couldn't stay alive. I think I gave up after 10 or so tries, as I got sick of rebuffing with CLR/DRU/ENC/SHM buff bots every attempt.
I then killed off Bikum and still died to Seru +1 (Matpa) three more time, before giving up completely as I don't need anything from Seru +0 anymore (other than lego procs to sell).

AFAIK that is how it works. The BiS lists for the DPS/utility pets build around that.

Lol finally scored the damn summoning gloves from VT. Its been like a week and a half trying to get those things to drop. Prob the best run ever as far as loot....RNgeesus smiled at me today.
All from todays run! RNG never complies with me like this. I usually get 90% crap and one to two good item. A good 40-60K run, lol

I need to get back to running VT for alt gear. I think I have maybe seen 1 Crimson Runed Mask [green], along with a couple items I haven't seen at all.
It seems I also need to level up the bag full of upgrades on my Zrk/MNK/CLR in order to do Seru+2, as I just cant keep up with the dmg on the two combos I tried. On the bright side, I did get a lego aug on the second Seru+1, but it was the one that gives a 50 mana proc, which seems a bit useless (you have to give up a heal wep proc aug for it). I'm not sure where is best to XP at, since I don't think this combo can AoE tank everything down like SK/Wiz/X can

My Zrk/Mnk/Shm starts at goo tunnel entrance in DN. Runs through the goo tunnels, drops down into the rat tunnels, makes few loops in the big rat room to gather rats and lets the goos catch up. Then he runs around a corner to los casters and uses the riposte disc / AoE skill to kill the pack. Then slowly works his way back to the entrance waiting in the disc to refresh and start again. Alternately if you have a Akheva bane weapon you can just do the bottom loop over and over in VT as it has the highest ZEM and the fastest respawn rate. But I still think DN is batter exp.

I'm rather sick of DN and tried to get VT to work on my SK/X/Wiz. I couldn't find a spot to reliably prevent getting summoned into the middle of the pack and insta-gibed. To make it worse, some of them knockback, which cause the rest to insta summon. If it wasn't for that, pulling the whole first floor of VT at the same time would probably be better xp than DN.
