Zero trust in any reviews these days. Shows, movies, games, whatever. Will see when it hits twitch.

I imagine the user scores will be quite jarring comparatively. Which always exposes how much bullshit Critics can be.

The biggest twitch streamers will say the game is amazing. I'll actually be surprised if any of them will criticize the Tranny part in anyway.... because of fear.

I’m about 10 minutes into this review and it sounds like the gameplay sucks as much as the story.

Gameplay was always likely to be mediocre at best. The story is why everyone is turning their backs on this sequel.

Yeah but I don’t trust anonymous user reviews either. Especially console exclusives, you have xbronies giving it a 1/10 no matter how good it is. Add that to the media attention it’s gotten and you’re going to get a lot of reviews from people who haven’t even played it

this is going to be the equivalent of TLJ but for video games

The only thing you are told by a sea of five star, ten out of ten, perfect 100 reviews is that everyone was afraid to give the game a negative review. it tells you nothing about the quality of the game and everything about the politics attached to it.

It always amazed me the number of people that have said, "Aww, yeh, MetaCritic's user score? Never check it out. That place is a dumpster fire." Like, really? Do you go on Amazon and buy whatever Shiny New Product there is, just because it says it'll wipe your ass for you? I mean, do you really not look at the Amazon reviews first?

You mean something with a ton of genuine problems, but the freaked out crowd whines so much about SJW stuff that those who still defend the game get an out to claim they're just afraid of "potential SJW" stuff and that's the only reason why they hate it because it's actually great (but it's still not)?

Never understood the appeal of TLOU. It's the epitome of all the worst elements of modern game design. And the story is gay and dumb.

IMO it's games where the critic and user score is about equal that are almost always quite amazing. Bloodborne and New Vegas being examples.
