Went with a bunch of friends one evening after high school to the theater for that one. We were all pleasantly surprised with how awesome it was. Still a great film.

That's pretty cool. Probably the only movie set piece I've ever been to is maybe the Alamo and the French quarter. French quarter being the only place I ever lived by.

the movie is like 4 episodes and Pedro doesnt want to do Mando anymore and they plan on switching the show to Womandolorian with Bo Katan. Baby Yoda isnt a draw anymore. with no more Mando, Cara Dune and Carl Wethers being dead, whats the point? i bet Favreau is quitting too.No paperwork signed for Season 4.

Biggest problem with this for Disney is that Gina probably won't go for a settlement that doesn't include her getting her place on the show back. The chances they'll be able to straight buy her out with money is pretty damn low.

money is how you hurt Disney, but i'm not talking a few mil from a settlement which she can already have. with discovery and access to Disney finances, this will shed a light on their accounting practices and the real dirt will be when something is found. Disney is famously suspected for cooking their books. if Gina's( and Elons) lawyers find irregularities and discover the Disney stock is grossly overvalued through deceptive business practices, it may cause a chain reaction that tanks the stock down by perhaps half. now were's talking tens of billions in losses. to avoid that they may have to take drastic measures. maybe Gina wants KK gone and some other demands. they would do that to avoid a mousepocalypse. just a thought. IMO Gina is going to get lots of money and vindication.

the gulf between "not having your case thrown out because its ridiculous" and "taking down Disney" is so fucking huge.
I doubt very much that Disney has even considered a settlement in this case at all, they 100% expected the case to be tossed as meritless, and now that it hasn't, I doubt they expect to lose.
Not knocking the merits of the case or lack there of (don't really know/care) just don't think DEI Disney gives a shit or expects to struggle at all during this case much less lose. You guys are in here acting like she has them on the ropes or something when it's literally been 3 and a half years to even start the fight.

All it takes is a slip up. Disney has several different divisions that work independently of the others. If lucasfilm is being run dishonestly and spent 200 million on something like Alcolyte which doesn't look like they spent half that. Then where did the rest of the money go? Marvel does this shit too. Somehow secret invasion cost 225 million. Just crazy numbers for b quality results. Shenanigans.

She isn't going to end up back on the show as part of a settlement. Best case scenario, she gets money and then probably uses it to self-fund her own projects

It was completely embarrassing once people pointed out Pedro Pascal makes similar comments regularly just on the other side of the coin-- the exact same sentiments and graphic "inappropriate" comparisons.
Even Iger had to sweat a few questions on an investor call over the disparity in reaction Lucas Film took against her and not others if I'm remembering the call correctly.
That will most likely play a key role in this trial. Expect some of Pedro's stuff to get re-examined.

Well the show is over so no she won't be back on the show. She was supposed to get a spinoff series but i'm guessing it would have been just as bad as the other spin off series and there is no way they can force disney to create a spin off series just for her.
All there is monetary compensation and Disney burns billions of dollars for woke DEI shit they won't even blink over having to spend a few hundred thousand in some wrongful termination payout, not even if its a few million for pain and suffering
