More doomer, Leftist end-of-the-world shit from Netflix. I guess they haven't really realized people are kinda tired of that narrative - as someone who was very much apart of the doomer, end-of-the-world Right-wing rhetoric.

II will admit against my white heritage, I had a thing for Angela Bassett when I saw her in Strange Days. However this looks like what we would expect from Netflix.

I'm positive this would be an amazing film!

We have been working through the catalog of stand up comedy specials. Not all are homeruns, but there is some good stuff beyond the big name comics like Chapelle.

We watched one of his the other night. His semi-deadpan delivery is great.

I think you can thank Barry and Michael for that abomination. I feel real sorry for the little beagle because he obviously knows it's all a bunch of horseshit and there's not a single person on that set that knows how to cook.

stock up over $100 (15%) in after hours, i cancelled my netflix sub a while ago but tossed some money in my IRA into NFLX stock and its up like 200% since then, almost enough to pay for a year of netflix!!

i wonder how long they can just keep adding subs, i have no idea i expected it to start dropping soon but no stopping this train so far

And soon, it'll be the same price as cable! Win/Win!
My YoutubeTV IS the same cost as cable, it went up too $82 something before tax. Keep in mind this is with nothing added, so it's basically basic cable.

Remember when Googles' motto was 'do no evil' now it's 'Where is my money BITCH!'

It would be a day 1 cancel but my wife loves TV and if she's watching TV she's not yelling at me. I even sent the last price raise to her hoping she'd finally say kill it but she didn't.

the nice advantage still of Youtube TV is that you can share with 5 family members, i have my 3 kids, sister in law, and in laws all using it so it basically works out to $20/house. I never watch live TV so don't give a fuck but everyone else does.

When they finally kill sharing it'll be a dark day, I think it and Amazon and Apple TV+ are the only streaming services left that let you share so big like that still.

every day I'm happy I built out a 100TB plex server a few years ago, i don't even need to add storage I just delete shit I watch and didn't love which is like 80% of movies and TV nowadays. With high speed internet its not that big a deal to redownload anything anyways. I pirate EVERYTHING, its so much easier than dealing with streaming apps
