Both McCain and Romney were awful but at least the press wouldn't roll over and play dead for them when they pulled some of the shit that Obama has pulled.Given the alternatives, the right person was probably elected both times however for very different reasons
I'm not sure which of the three is worse.I would be interested in going back and giving McCain a chance after seeing how all this turned out but it's still not quite the shit soup necessary to make me pine for the lost possibilities of Romney/Ryan.

The only way to have any real change is to stop voting for Republicans and Democrats. Obama is proof that you are just kidding yourself pretending there are any substantial difference between them. Of course Romney or McCain would have been just as bad if not worse. Until people get past the idea that you have to vote for one or the other, enjoy the status quo.Hah! We agree, it really wouldn't matter. The hurt from Obama is worse though. My question would be why doesn't it matter, and what does it take to change it. Not that well ever see it happen.
Rand Paul is leading the pack of GOP candidates for the 2016 election and is very similar to his father. The guy is a very impressive speaker and is a very libertarian/republican. Excited for the prospect of him winning an election and reigning in the federal government. The only way to have any real change is to stop voting for Republicans and Democrats. Oldschool GOP/GOP leadership (Boehner, Priebus, Cantor, Ryan, Tom, Dick & Harry) will do their best to sabotage him. You just watch. -_-Rand Paul is leading the pack of GOP candidates for the 2016 election and is very similar to his father. The guy is a very impressive speaker and is a very libertarian/republican. Nah. They'll rig the votes in Iowa/New Hampshire. The fix is in.No doubt. But if he has enough support then he'll be able to overcome the opposition...hopefully.
