And like all outspoken critics of the government or military, he was quickly FUCKING MURDERED. Using experimental craziness that you people just fucking heard of. It all makes sense now.
Hastings was working on:

http://www.sfgate.com/nation/article...es-4613620.php

During the weeks before he was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles, reporter Michael Hastings was researching a story about a privacy lawsuit brought by Florida socialite Jill Kelley against the Department of Defense and the FBI.

Hastings, 33, was scheduled to meet with a representative of Kelley next week in Los Angeles to discuss the case, according to a person close to Kelley. Hastings wrote for Rolling Stone and the website BuzzFeed.

Kelley alleges that military officials and the FBI leaked her name to the media to discredit her after she reported receiving a stream of e-mails that were traced to Paula Broadwell, a biographer of former CIA director David Petraeus, according to a lawsuit filed in Federal District Court in Washington on June 3.
The Petraeus Affair (pun intended) is a very, very odd duck.

it's not like that's not a "thing" and the reasons why are obvious, it is plausible even if unlikely.

You still got alot more evidence to bring to the table beyond circumstantial, beyond just saying the possibility is there.

Why is it plausible? because journalists exist and cars exist and governments exist, then journalists being murdered by governments by hacking their cars is suddenly on the table? That is ridiculous. Show me a single piece of actual evidence. Hell, show me a single journalist being murdered by ANY Western nation and I would be more willing to buy it. This isn't The Bourne Identity, everything isn't connected.

Why is it ridiculous? Our government violated the sovereignty of Bolivia to try and get Snowden. It killed a 16-year old American Citizen without a second thought. Killing a journalist about to break open a new scandal seems par for the course.

Here's an interview that Richard Clarke did with Huffingtonpost.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_3492339.html

Huffingtonpost_sl said:
Former U.S. National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism Richard Clarke told The Huffington Post that what is known about the single-vehicle crash is "consistent with a car cyber attack."

Clarke said, "There is reason to believe that intelligence agencies for major powers" -- including the United States -- know how to remotely seize control of a car.

"I'm not a conspiracy guy. In fact, I've spent most of my life knocking down conspiracy theories," said Clarke, who ran afoul of the second Bush administration when he criticized the decision to invade Iraq after 9/11. "But my rule has always been you don't knock down a conspiracy theory until you can prove it [wrong]. And in the case of Michael Hastings, what evidence is available publicly is consistent with a car cyber attack. And the problem with that is you can't prove it.""

The perfect crime! By the way his rule is fucking retarded...don't dismiss a conspiracy theory unless you can prove it wrong without a shadow of a doubt. Clearly the Pyramids were really built by aliens then because we can't go back and prove otherwise.

Honestly shit like this just makes me think of that South Park episode where George Bush is behind the conspiricy theories that the goverment caused 9/11 so that people think the government is some big powerful scarey entity that can kill you anywhere anytime for any reason.

Isn't that how science works, keep testing idea's until they break? you're making this big presumption like you can know everything, most things you won't ever actually know if they are true or not, you have to trust the talking head your listening too or look at physical evidence, in this case the physical evidence doesn't eliminate the possibility.

And it's perfectly natural to never know the real answer, who the fuck said there was an answer for everything.

Right now right this second everyone who reads this sentence there are at least some things you think you "know" and are completely wrong about in reality.

This is what, the 100th time you've had to make some useless shitpost in an attempt to justify your inability to spell basic words properly? Why not channel that effort towards learning how to fucking spell words instead?

Do you have some sort of disorder? Honest question.
