some recent cash outs before Willis, Samuel L Jackson, Morgan Freeman. until he got cancelled and Nicolas Cage. lots of these so called great actors have done movie blitzes where they seem to be in everything they possibly can. Robert Deniro is a plague on films, but at least its because he is terrible with women and money.. they gave Nicolas Cage a bigger pass than Bruce Willis when they reviewed his movie, Willy's Wonderland. maybe its because Willis is a conservative and an easy target. and so is Adam Sandler.
This is why Willis is being rightfully shit on;

Anyone else notice Mike's splotchy face? He looked rather odd.
yup saw that, he's in Wisconsin, i chalked that up to windburn. i got a little of that myself this weekend. fucking 20s outside with wind it feels like single digits. i actually put my gaiter on to unfreeze my face. had to put break out the Jergens lotion to fix it.

or he's drunk

Don't know if anyone looked at the comments but several people were mentioning that he may be in the beginning stages if Dementia so he's trying to work as much as possible until the inevitable end. He apparently had some issues on Glass and was seen wearing a earpiece for the play Misery. Hope its not the case - just went through it with a family member and its not pretty.

in that video, Jay said that Bruce lost 75% of his hearing in the left ear while filming the original Die Hard. the scene where he shoots that dude from under the table.

i think the major difference between willis and guys like sam jackson and nick cage is that yes, they are all in a ton of movies (sam still puts out some quality movies on occasion, so does nick), but willis clearly isn't trying anymore. he reminds me of that Detective Crashmore skit from i think you should leave (played by santa claus) where he's like, my quote is $2 million. if i ever do even one more movie i have to get paid $2 million, even if i'm not any good.

meanwhile, nic cage is in some super weird art house flicks and he's acting his ass off.

they only reviewed 2 of the 11 movies and jay only watched 3. mike didnt have a problem with Willis in the 1 (space zombies) out of 2 that he watched, all i'm saying is that they are likely all shitball low budget crap, but saying Willis is phoning it in for 11 movies when you only saw that in 1 movie out of 2 watched is dishonest and fucking lazy.

i don't disagree with your premise, i just think you should pick someone more deserving of the defense. i mean, i grew up watching moonlighting, the die hards, i even enjoyed hudson hawk... and whether it's due to early onset dementia (or some other issue beyond his control) or that he's phoning it in, the fact remains he's not pushing out the same quality of content that he was 20 years ago.

i mean, he's gone on record saying that his fee is something like $1 million per day, and if they can't pay him that he'll find a studio that will. that's why his movies all suck now and it explains being fed lines and his odd affect while saying those lines. when he says those lines, he probably JUST heard them for the first time. the director's job isn't really to make a good movie, it's to manage the day or two that they could afford willis so that they get as many shots, and as many lines of dialogue that they can possibly get.

i sorta watched until i couldn't stand the horrible acting no more, 2 of his shit 2021 movies

honestly all these movies he's still the best actor lulz, he just has so much acting experience he doesn't sound like he's phoning it in or is just a horrible actor(like these d-list retards) hell i think he co starred a lot with frank grillo and he's only decent b/c he'll do any action movie that pays more than 1$

sure, i understand all that and that could be a good reason why he would phone it in. he could also be phoning it in because he doesnt know what he's supposed to be saying or how he is supposed to say it until he hears what he's supposed to be saying. there is an old trope in hollywood where the actor asks the director, "what's my motivation for this scene?". its up to the director or producer to get the actor to give them what they want. if you cant get that then its YOU who dun goofed by pickig a bad actor or not giving him/her the proper motivation for that scene. but we wont ever know because they only reviewed those 2 or 3 movies and we have no idea the situation Wilis is in for those bad performances.

i have also been a big fan of Wilis since Moonlighting. saw every episode and they wisely saved the will they/wont they til the final season.

It just sucks to see him making such obviously low budget rubbish.

Back in the day, he was in some of the best action movies ever, a legit A lister.

But now this.

I’d love to be in a C Thomas Howell movie. sukik sukik and I have watched a bunch of his works of art.
I’d love to be the general that gets eaten and then shows back up in the Battleship movie knockoff playing the admiral who gets…. Eaten.

Its hard for me to armchair quarterback Bruces career choices, because if I could sit back and mail it in and make a good living, not sure I'd take the moral high ground for my art or not.

I'm really just disappointed in the filmmakers and this particular era of low end cinema in general. We've all watched stuff that had no budget and was at least a movie and we've all watched stuff that had scooped up a declining named actor for some star power. If you're handing out checks for one or two million than fuck Bruce hoover up every single one until the money runs out. Canon Films, Full Moon, Roger Corman, etc. at least made movies. These "shot on an IPhone" tier movies look like trash and have zero imagination behind them.

sad vampires. I wonder if anyone has made a movie, where vampires just chug down vit d fortified blood to stave off winter depression.
