so far this water air purifier is kinda loud, i mean compared to my winix air cleaner it's a lawn mower, so far it's cloudy, not bad i guess.

The air purifier function of the Hyla is extremely loud, but that's because it's primarily a vacuum cleaner. You just leave off the attachments and turn it on. It knows to run for only 1/2 hour but you can roll it from room to room and it really does clean the air.

Swapping Amex Cards, and my reward points don't transfer to the new cash back card, so I burned them on some toys - loving them (especially for free).

Amazon.com: Razer Mamba Tournament Edition - Chroma Ergonomic Gaming Mouse: Computers Accessories

Replaced an older Logitech G15 keyboard, and a Razer Naga (haven't played an MMO in a while). The mechanical keyboard is sweet - forgot how much I used to love them.
I've heard nothing but complaints about the new Razer switches

Care to provide an example? I'm not a mechanical keyboard snob, but I think its working great - I'd love to see what issues are being reported, or what the problems are supposed to be.

New to cast iron cooking so I just picked up a two cast iron skillets 10.5" w/ grill marks and a 12" Round. I slammed rib eyes and fillets steaks in them and wow they are great! I dont think I will ever go back to the grill or cooking in a regular pan. Great flavor!

You can read about it here. They are basically just custom designed switches being made by a Chinese Cherry knock-off. If Razer says anything other than "We are doing this to save money because it is cheaper than Cherry" they are lying. I know quite a few pro gamers who switched from Razer decks to others after the move from using blue/browns to their green/orange switches.

Interesting read - thanks!

Knock on wood - I haven't experienced any issues (but it's only been about a week) - thus far I love the keyboard, but I don't have experience with any other mechanicals to compare it against.

I appreciate the heads up, and I'll report back if any issues occur.

Can you return the grill marks one? Most of us in cooking thread like the full pan more, more surface area and grill one is a pain to clean.

I havent had an issue yet with the grill mark one as far as cleaning. I can see how something messy like eggs or a gravy could cause issues when cleaning...

The best thing about cherry MX or clones is that if and when they fail (i've had a few fail on me) just open up the keyboard, de-solder and solder on a new switch for a buck. And if you don't know how to solder, learn, it's just like learning to change your oil.

For something that I can't actually "use" whatsoever...it just sits there and I look at it, I wouldn't spend near that much.

I'd spend $600 on a video card, or on a monitor, or a new tablet or smartphone without a second thought. But for what is basically a paperweight? No way.

Then again, I'm definitely not a collectible/memorabilia person whatsoever. I have friends that have payed well more than $600 for some signed football helmet, or sports jersey, and I wouldn't even fathom doing that either.

If it was, say, a lightsaber prop from the actual movies then I could see dropping some cash, that's cool as hell. But a lightsaber that's just randomly made by some 3rd party company and has nothing to do with the movies or actors in any way? WAY too much money.
