I'm wired for sound..kept topping off with espresso shots, it is glorious. The beans seem good, i see what you mean about oily, seems to be loading then ok. There was a big attention card in the box to adjust the grinder if the beans aren't feeding so hopefully that's more of a users failure to tune the machine.

Meh, I did the whole coffee as a hobby back in the late 90s when it became popular to buy expensive beans from coffee clubs and use french presses and shit. Now I buy 2 bags of some french roast from costco, whole bean, and grind like a few days worth at one time.
Yeah, we buy the whole bean BJs brand. It does the job. I also don't want my coffee to taste like anything but coffee. I don't want vanilla, hazelnut, moca, etc.

I have a Kureig at home because I rabidly drink coffee at work (probably use on average 25 kcups a week there). Office just got another new Kureig, the one that has uses those ludicrous whole pot pods that are the size of a bowl. Pretty good and a decent variety, but the pods and the machine are so big.

yea, the Don Pablo seems to be my fav so far, the Koffee Kult doesn't seem to be a hit with the wife either, gonna try kicking horse in a day or two, are you getting nice crema?

I can drink about any coffee as well, sometimes I'll notice it tastes like shit, but i really notice when it tastes great. Usually the spectrum of the blended drinks is much wider and that's what i usually order and what id like to be able to make
I can't drink any coffee unless it's top tier, neither can my wife. I mean she brings 2 thermos full of our coffee to work everyday cuz she can't stand the (free) single serve at work.

Hopefully work is paying for those kcups, each one is over a buck a piece buying them in a regular supermarket.

We have a first gen keurig in our house which is starting to croak, takes ~5 minutes to brew the coffee after you press the button and the majority of the time it doesn't brew the full amount. So we swapped back to our plain old Mr. Coffee and we're loving it.

Of course they do, though at home we get Kirkland kcupswhich are about $0.30 each. Between wife and I we only use 5 or so a week

Keurig is a great system, the fag in me hates the trash generated by everyone having a single cup. Especially in an office drinking 100 cups a day.

Eh at home I open the used cup and put grindsin garden/compost and recycle the plastic. At work, don't give a fuck

I also have a problem with the trash Keurig's produce, but then I think about my gas guzzling car getting 15 mpg and feel kind of like a hypocrite. I'm a part-time environmentalist.

I use a Keurig at home most of the time, but if I'm feeling fancy on the weekend with time to spare I might bust out the French press.

At work, we just use Folgers in bulk, it would be WAY too costly to use a Keurig unless everyone bought their own pods. The Folgers is fine, it delivers liquid caffeine to my system, so it does what I need it to do.

The only time I get pissed off is when someone lazy makes a new pot of coffee and just throws a scoop of fresh grounds on the used ones in the filter and brews another pot that way. Tastes like ass, and I've witnessed multiple people doing it before.

Getting a new car is expensive or it would require major sacrifices to get to work without one.

You can easily change your coffee habit or not drink it at all. That's why you feel bad about k-cups, you know you have a choice.

I'm not a fan of Keurigs, both for the trash they produce and the quality of the overall product. Though, I tend to like really dark roasts and everything that comes out of a Keurig is too acidic and weak. We buy the big canister of dark city roast from Trader Joes, grind it there, then keep it sealed until it's brewed. Brew about 3 cups and put it in a contigo mug, lasts me the whole morning.

Yes, fuck these people. I have seen that at my old office as well. The only explanation I can think of is that they are done drinking coffee for the day but want to make it look like they didn't take the last cup and leave the pot empty because nobody thinks that shit is drinkable.

Pro tip, coffee grounds. When the ants invade my window sill, i throw a bunch of used grounds and create a wall of coffee, stops them in their tracks.

6 o'clock latte to get me going again, totes delish, don't heat the milk as long for a slightly more summery drink.
