Enjoy your new computer, priced about the same as a brand new small car. Probably sucks down the equivalent amount of electricity compared to gas, price wise. What was the motivation for such an expensive rig?

Why spend that much on a single rig when you could buy a high end machine (but not bleeding edge) for 1/4 the cost and just replace it every 3 years and still come out ahead?

I see you didn't list any monitors with that rig.

Please tell me that you forgot to some sweet ass hi def 30+" monitors in the list and that you didn't spend $17K just on the system?

No particular reason for getting it other than wanting a super high end machine.. and because I could.
It's heavy as fuck though, it took 2 of us to get it out of the crate.
It has a "patent pending" ARES system under the rig to pump out the heat.

It's liquid cooled WITH 22 fans.

Here's an idea of how large it is.

I have 2 Samsung 24'' HD LED LCD monitors already, so no need for monitors.
I also have 7.1 surround sound with these:

Sound Blaster ZxR

G11 keyboard (which is next upgrade)
and R.A.T 9 mouse.

I should hook it up to 2 4K TVs:

Pretty fucking huge waste of money to only have that hooked up to two 24" monitors. Either add a third or upgrade them both to 30". Or, yeah, swing that moneydick around and buy some 4k's.
