It screams "not gaming" to me and perhaps something for research. If it is for gaming, I just could never justify the cost with the quality of games that are out now.
Lots of data and numbers. It's not being used for rendering or anything else. Just massive amounts of research and numbers.
Basically taking all data from a Legacy system and funneling it into a brand new system.

It's heavy as fuck though, it took 2 of us to get it out of the crate.
It has a "patent pending" ARES system under the rig to pump out the heat.
It's liquid cooled WITH 22 fans.

I put my money and bought a second home and close this week. The plus side is that the house is already networked with CAT5 outlets in every room of the house. I purchased this today for use at my entertainment center for consoles, A/V receiver and TV.

I honestly dont get it. That system is basically idling running 1080p monitors. If you spent all of that money on the rig, you might has well fucking upgrade to triple 30" monitors. It's like buying a car with a 1000hp engine and running all four wheels on donut spare tires.
Nevermind the fact that my simple 2x SLI 670 cards and 3770k OC'd to 4.5GHz can handle ANYTHING I have thrown at it. All for less than 10% of your cost!! What games are you playing?

I normally would agree but 3x sli titans isn't going to be touched by anything in in a lesser price range for aleast a year. He might as well hook this up like a server run everything in his house. Just connect half a dozen monitors in every room to just this machine.
Correction he bought a 17k computer for gaming.I should have said " just connect12 to 18monitors from different rooms in his house."
