Some people ask me why I am still bullish on Trinseo. Especially as they fell through the $2.50 I said was the bottom.

One of their SVPs is called Arthas.

That's it. That's the reason.

That’s what he’s called or that’s his name?

Waited for it to drop from 124.80, entered at 122.92 by watching orders on Bookmap

and it slingshotted up like 20 seconds later

trailing sell order locked in, back to shitposting
As someone who’s used Bookmap for a few years now, don’t get faked out thinking you’re identifying orders with any significance there. Those big orders on whole and half dollar increments are just algos.

There is certainly value watching the book like this, but you need to set that right column to SVP (session volume profile). That will tell you how many shares have traded at those prices on the day.

When you are trying to identify strong levels of support, you should first be doing this in your charting in longer timeframes, and THEN using bookmark to validate those levels to some degree. The most critical factor is looking at that order book and its size relative to what’s trading. Seeing some 100k buy order block is fucking meaningless if it’s already traded 300k+ at multiple other levels. You really want to see outsized order volume sitting on that level orders of magnitude larger than what it’s trading around.

Also to note, these are just open orders. Many traders use hidden orders (my broker allows this) and algos outright can just push prices around without leaving big open orders out there.

It’s a great tool, but know its use relative to volume being traded. It’s also a great visual to watch order spoofing, which is technically illegal, but you can watch it happen every single day in front of your eyes.

So you spent half a year trying to trick people into buying this shitty penny stock because of some LARP in your head.

I don't normally petition for anyone to be kicked out of sections of a site but in a subforum that people take seriously, where bad financial advice can destroy lives and families, intentionally malicious financial advice would seem to justify getting your ass thrown out of here.

But that's just me.

Are you dumb?

A) that was obviously a joke. You do know who Arthas Menethil is don't you?
B) it's the shit posting thread
B2) find me one mention of TSE in the main thread
C) the same shit post thread you created because your posting style isn't compatible with the main thread
D) I've worked with that company since before their IPO and have followed their fortunes for over a decade
E) if someone bought at $2.50 and then sold at 3.50 they'd have made.... Profit. 45% in fact which is bigger than any gain you've posted
F) there were smaller gains to be made since then
G) I'm still invested at and expect the stock to bounce back at some point in the future

It's nice to know that you're able to ignore all the malicious autistic, degenerate, dog fucker, asshat slurs to view me as an authority figure on this forum that people take seriously enough to invest life changing sums of money on a stock that has dropped from $60-70 to $4 -> $2 in the past year.

You should be embarrassed by your reaction and morons that cry wolf are the ones that should be thread banned

Omg I'm such a degenerate, malicious, dog fucking autistic asshat to think a stock that went from 2.50 to 3.78 could repeat that after falling back down.

Your reaction is up there with Cad Cad having a meltdown because his title got fucked with, fyi

1. I think so low of you that I believe you would actually pick a stock because someone possibly shares a name with a Wow character.

2. Shitposting doesnt mean posting malicious financial advice. Different posting style doesnt mean posting financially ruinous advice.

Seems like you are very emotionally invested into this stock. Maybe you should work that out with your therapist with the other million things that are fucked up in your head.

It went up 45% so please tell me how that was malicious.

And Arthas Menethil was introduced in warcraft 3. He didn't show up in wow until wotlk

". I think so low of you that I believe you would actually pick a stock because someone possibly shares a name with a Wow character."

So which is it, either I'm an asshat that everyone ignores or I'm the pied piper leading everyone like rats to financial ruin

I said I would post my trades in case people care, I know this board is big on putting money where our mouth is, etc....

Anyway two small plays now:

1.) A long on RKLB: Plan here is to sell far before expiration if I can get a small movement back up. Even a +0.20 move would be more than 10% which is fine by me. Obviously if RKLB goes in a tear at some point that would be lovely, but that's not my realistic play
View attachment 534450

2.) A spread on Netflix: This one is not profitable yet and I did pick it up yesterday(sorry not a real-time post). For those not familiar with spreads the overall risk is about 11,000$ and the maximum gain is a bit over 2k, I would close it out at 1.5k, basically looking for a 15% gain, so the sooner I can close the better. While spreads can be good if you predict the right direction of movement, I don't really like waiting until expiration to collect if at all possible, hard to complain about profit though.

  1. The long on RKLB is already up 6%, considering the expiry I may let this one run a bit. I'll keep people in the loop without trying to turn the thread into a personal blog. If it hits 15%+ I will absolutely put a stop loss on it or sell enough to profit and let the rest run. This is one of those where I do somewhat believe in the company, but I also prefer cash over dreams
  2. The netflix spread has not closed yet, no update there though I still look safe
  3. Entered a new spread for DDOG. Net credit of .33, already put in a close at .16, which would make the trade about a 10% gain

One thing I struggle(d) with is scale. This is not brag mode, but one of the reasons I only make 1-2 trades a week and generally don't keep more than 5 positions active(outside of my 'safety' of FBTC and SPY) is that I have a regular job and cannot dedicate myself full time to trading.

Anyway, a huge problem I struggled with for years which really hurt me was scale compared to my life. Example above with DDOG...I am not saying this to brag, but I make over 100,000k a year easily. So even though I would make a 10-20k play and be up 10%, I would say "ohhh 1,000$, big whoop. that's not life changing" and then hold it apparently waiting for that imaginary star to fall and turn my 10k into 10 million so I would never work again.

As we all know that does not happen, at least not regularly, not to normal folks. Then because I waited for the stars, I'd slowly watch my 10% gain receive the flip side of a swing or get eaten away by theta leaving me with a big fat 0% or worse, all because I gawked at 1,000$

It took me a LONG time to get over that. Now my trades are 10k-50k on average and as I take profits I shave them off into a "safe" investment. I may slowly increase that range as my portfolio increases with time, keeping my active risk in line % wise with my "safe" investments.

Anyway, Araysar Araysar posted his list of lessons learned, a big one for me was not to get so concerned about the actual financial amount, but when I am up on a trade that moved in my favor, the %'s matter more than the dollars. I just play at a smaller scale

That RKLB call is now up 40%......very temping to walk away but it's a January call!

I don't want to put a trail on it because the price movement is sporadic and small so unless the trail is huge it is likely to get hit by a less than dollar move on the underlying :(

I've made this stupid mistake before though where I think something has legs and before I know it my 40% is zero and I feel like a moron. I don't think it will dip in the next day or two so I will sleep on it over the weekend.

Still, still bullish.
